Sweating beads are my new living, I think. While walking to our classes, e tinitignan kami ng mga tao nung nasa cafeteria kami Nathan noticed how new I was to this situation, being 'popular' and all. Kaya naisipan niyang sabay sabay na kami pumunta sa classes. Kami ni Harvey at Nathan may klase, Gabi and Ethan in chemistry, while Mack has literature.
Before seperating, napag dedisyunan ni Mack at Nathan na mag-celeberate kami kahit isang beses lang. Kaya naman mamayang gabi ay pupunta kami sa dorm nilang dalawa. I hesitated at first pero I soon realized na sila Nathan nga pala kasama ko, which means hindi nila ako huhusgahan or what.
In a mental note, I write down chips and coke. They insisted na sila nalang bibili ng beer, pero sinabi ko na hindi ako umiinom, si Ethan naman ay, well, he surprisingly agreed na sumama. He said kasi na he's sorry earlier about kay Nathan, kaya naman gusto niyang makipag-kaibigan para makabawi sa ginawa niya.
I was happy, and nervous. Sobra.
I was new to this being 'famous' thing here in KUP, I've been an Elite since I arrived pero naging lowkey lang ako. I didn't flex it or something, nor did I joined contests to represent KUP.
All of us were Elites, and wala namang problema samin. Meron kasing mga students dito sa KUP na apaka yabang.
Stares was given to us habang papunta kami sa rooms namin. Pumasok na muna kami ng room namin bago huminga ng malalim, umakyat na kami sa seats namin and luckily wala pa si Prof. May mga estudyante rin na nandito and nakita kong tumitingin sila sa amin. Meron mga kinikilig at meron namang nakatingin sa aking mga lalaki. Parang kakainin na ako ng mga ito. I gulped at the thought.
Uhm..
"N-Nathan." Tawag ko.
He immediately looked at me as he was fixing his bag while standing up.
"Yes?" He smiled.
Tumingin rin naman si Harvey, swaying his bangs as he looked. Curious why I called Nathan. Tinignan nila ako, as I looked at the people looking at me, especially the boys at the other side of our chairs.
"U-Uhm, I feel uncomfortable." Sabi ko kay Nathan, which made him look confused. But when I looked at my surroundings, he noticed na ang daming nakatingin samin.
I grab the hem of his turtle neck at tinuro ng patago ang mga lalaking nasa likod ko. Tumingin naman siya doon sa kabilang side ng chairs. He sighed and only smiled at me beofre nodding at Harvey who was listening the whole time. I saw Harvey fix his hair before snapping his finger para kunin ang atensyon ng mga tao sa pakigid namin.
