"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
"Mama! Shhhhhh! 'Wag ka ngang tumili, nakakasagabal sa kapitbahay, Ma!"
Suway ko kay Mama, tumingin ako kay Papa para tulungan niya akong patigilin si Mama, ngunit nakanga-nga lang rin ito. Why, do you ask? Well, I just told them how Nathan saved me from falling and how I thought he was going to kiss me.
"Nagdadalaga na anak ko!" Nangiyak-ngiyak na pagsabi ni Mama kaya naman hinimas-himas ko ang aking sintido.
"Nako! Pano kaya 'pag nagkatuluyan anak ko doon sa gwapong 'yon? Juice ko, dapat maganda wedding mo! I'll set up the chandeliers right away. Oh my God! What about the honey moon? Oh! I can set you both at the Bahamas, that way no one'll hear you when you go smoochey--"
Expecting the 'out-of-the-world' ideas coming out of her mouth, I quickly went onto her side as I shut her out with my hand.
"ACCIDENT LANG 'YON, MA." I accidentally shouted as I still kept my hand over her mouth. Clearly blushing on how willing my mother is to share the sweet accident.
"Aba, kahit na! Malay mo nagpigil lang iyon at dinilaan nalang ang ilong mo." Sabi ni Papa habang nakangisi at itinataas-baba ang kaniyang mga kilay.
"Papa naman e! Help me, instead of fueling up the fire! In our situation, don't help Mama make ideas." I whined as I slouched on my chair, feeling drained from the both of my parents.
They both became quiet as they looked at each other and then looks at me with worried and happy eyes. Mama lifts my chin up as she looks at me sincerely.
"I'm just so happy for you to experience these kinds of things, to feel giddy inside." She smiles as she caress my cheeks.
"As sad as it may sound, but your Mother and I never really expected you to have someone in your life. Kaya it's a relief na nakakaramdam ka ng kilig." Dad smiled as he grabbed my hand, he fixes himself.
"Take a hold of it, Sol. Kung meron ka mang nararamdamang mga paru-paro diyaan sa tiyan mo, keep it. 'Cause maybe... Just maybe, you'll find your mahiwaga."
My eyes widened as it all made sense in my mind now. It does feel like that, those moments na I'll be happy just by his side or just by his company. 'Yung times na kinikilig-kilig ako, (that I didn't know it was kilig back then) it all made sense.
Maybe... Just maybe...
Fixing my posture, I sighed. It's too much of a risk to expect something out of him. Pero, there's nothing wrong in hoping, am I right? I'll just have to wait... For the right moment...
Tinignan ko sila Mama at Papa at binigyan sila ng isang ngiti, I then hugged them both for sharing their thoughts about me, making me feel happy just by knowing that they have symphathy towards me.
Atleast nakikiramdam sila...
"Thank you, Ma, Pa."
"We love you."
"I love you both too."

It's the afternoon before the Halloween party at nandito kami ni Harvey and Mack sa bahay nila Gabi. Nagme-make up na kami at magbibihis na ng costume. Si Nathan daw ay mahuhuli na at may pinapagawa daw ang kaniyang Mother, kaya here we are rehearsing our verses for tonight.
Sana all...
"Bîtch, you look good!" Gabi told Harvey.
Harvey then grabs ahold of his cape and sways it with sass, "You tell me." He said while smirking.
"Are you sure that we don't have to walk to Campus with our costumes? We'll look like fools out there." Sabi ni Mack while putting on his face paint.
"Bakit naman, it's Halloween! Besides, susunduin naman tayo ni Nate later. Naka-costume na rin daw ang hinayupak, right Sol?" Tanong ni Harvs as he puts on his contact lenses.
Clearly, I don't like dressing up as a girl. And yes, kahit gay ako, I don't do cross-dressing, it's way too much of a hustle for me.
"I-I, oo. He texted me earlier na he'll be here in an hour or two." I replied, fixing my red hood, finishing my signature Red Riding Hood look.
"Naks naman! You look handsome for a red riding hood, Sol! As well as your blonde hair." Mack compliments me that made me smile. I'm getting pretty well at receiving compliments, if I do say so myself.
Gabi then smirks as he elbows me infront of the mirror, "Mas gaganda 'yan kapag nandiyan na Big Bad Wolf niya." She said as her eyebrows went upside down.
I went red with the embarassment.
"Oy oy oy. Red lang ang hood niya, hindi ang mukha. Spare our Sol the flirting. Can't you both tell he's sweating beads under that damned hood?" Harvey defended me as he was done putting on his lenses.
Gabi just rolled her eyes as Mack chuckled. I smiled and looked at Harvey through the mirror, he just winked at me and smiled.
Ang cool niya, grabe...
BEEP BEEP!
"That must be Nate, go pack your stuff for the night then go straight to the car na." Harvey commanded and like the bees of a Queen Bee, we did what were told.
"Sige po."
"Alright."
"Yes po."
We'll always see Harvey as the mother of our group, obviously out of fear because he can read a bitch if he wanted to, but also he's a strong-willed and generally a caring person to be with. He may be snarky from time to time, but he'll always be our Harvey.
"Chop-bloody-chop, darlings. We've got an event to attend to. A spooky one to be specific." Harvey said smirking, feeling his vampire costume.
It's going to be one hell of a night, if you know what I mean.
