Weird Feelings and The Scepter Chapter 24

Rory was in her apartment Painting or well trying to for the last few weeks she had felt... off

it was hard to explain really

she felt something but it wasn't something she had ever felt before and it both scared yet excited her

Natasha knew something was up but Rory wouldn't talk about it in fact she refused to talk to anyone about it when pushed it led her to her locking herself up in her apartment and doing one of her hobbies or re-reading the books that Frigga had given her

it took her until recently to consider that what she was feeling wasn't her but maybe just maybe it was her counterpart... But she didn't want to put herself out there and get her hopes up though she did have Hope that it was her but she refused to voice this hope

down to this Hope, however, Rory began carrying a book that talked about her Counterpart and their bond but it annoys her that her counterpart's codename was scratched out on all the pages she's not 100% sure why she began carrying it but something told her that she should

Rory was working on a detailed piece of Rory, Natasha, and Yelena when they were kids that is what she was painting it was one of the few ways she had to keep the memory of her little sister alive

Rory is in her own little world when her phone rings she pauses in her painting and grabs her phone she sees it's Natasha and picks it up

Hey Nat -Rory

Rory. we got a lead on Loki's Scepter get your ass to the tower -Natasha says before hanging up

Rude -Rory mutters before she rushes off to clean up quickly then grabbing Ember who goes into her arm in its Tattoo form and her Keys before she locks up her apartment then makes her way to her Motorbike then she speeds off

At The Tower

as Rory walks in she finds Steve and Tony at each other's throats again

this is one of the reasons why I don't stay here permanently -Rory says dryly

and I thought it was because you couldn't handle Stark in large portions -Natasha

that too -Rory says sitting next to her as the three watch the drama unfold

well we wouldn't want Stark being thrown threw Windows any more than normal -Clint

Natasha and Rory smirk

why are they arguing this time -Rory sighs as Steve and Tony's fight gets louder

Steve was talking about the good old days with Bruce. Tony jumped in saying that the now is way better which lead to well... that -Clint says gesturing to Tony and Steve fighting back and forth

well fuck -Rory winces

would you hang him off the tower or throw him out a window if I asked -Clint

do you even need to ask Clint? I mean I have thrown him threw a window for less -Rory

she has a point -Natasha

what is wrong with them -Thor says and joins them

there having a lover's quarrel -Rory

my parents were the same way at one time -Thor

what happened to make them stop fighting -Rory

they spent more one on one time together -Thor
