Rory is painting in her Art room

She is working on a painting of herself and Tali sword fighting

After a little while of painting and Rory content, Tali walks into the room

Mama -Tali

Hey honey -Rory says pausing in her painting and giving Tali her full attention

Wow, that painting is so cool! -Tali says in awe

Yeah -Rory

Yeah! can we put it up in the Cabin when it's dried -Tali

When Rory and Tali have the time they go to the cabin and they have been doing it up like Tali's room for example though they were somethings they refused to touch that Wanda had done so it was like Wanda was still with them

Sure we can -Rory agrees

Tali smiles brightly

I was wondering if you could help me with some moves -Tali

I would love to Tal. Just let me clean up ok -Rory says standing up

Ok. I'll wait for you in the training room -Tali says and rushes out the door with a look of pure giddy on her face

Training Room

Rory is watching Tali dancing around the Matt twirling her sword

Tali was working on her footwork and wanted Rory to come and watch her to make sure she was getting it right

So far she was sure there were a few errors but nothing too bad she was still learning and Rory would help her get them right

But as Rory watched Tali her mind goes to her firstborn daughter... Karli

She wonders if she would enjoy sword fighting. What person she is growing into. Is she ok? Is she happy? Is she safe... Did Thanos take her

Rory shakes the thoughts and watches as Tali finishes up her Route

There are a few little Errors on some landings but nothing too bad but we can work on it either way am very proud -Rory

Tali smiles brightly at this

After helping Tali with her footwork for a while and then teaching her some new moves to work on Rory went to her office and begins working on some paperwork

Tali was off working on the new moves

As Rory was working away her mind once again went to Karli

Rory sighs and puts her head in her hands she couldn't get Karli out of her head more so than normal as Tali grew

No matter what she did Rory couldn't stop thinking about Karli and she makes a choice

She needed to find her and learn that she was at least ok

But she also knows that Karli deserves to know why Rory couldn't raise her couldn't be what she needed her to be and what happened

Rory picks up her phone and is about to make a call to Lisa when Tali walks in

Mama -Tali

Hey honey is something wrong -Rory says deciding to wait to call Lisa

Am hungry -Tali

Well why don't we get you some food -Rory

Aren't you working -Tali

My children will always come first -Rory says standing up and she walks over to Tali and picks her up and begins walking off to the kitchen

Even when you are away on business -Tali

Yes. All you need to do is give me a heads up ok. Tell me if something is important and I will make sure am there ok -Rory

Ok Mama -Tali

Now let's get some food huh -Rory says bopping her on the nose

Tali giggles

That Night

That night once Tali was fed, bathed, changed, and in bed

Rory went into the living room where she is drinking a glass of Burbon and was relaxing

She then remembers the call she was meant to make earlier and pulls out her phone and scrolls till she hits Lisa's number then puts her phone to her ear and listens to it ringing

After a few moments

Hey Boss what can I do for you -Lisa

Did I wake you up -Rory

No, I was already awake. How's Tali -Lisa

Good. I'll bring her to see you soon -Rory

Sounds good. Now what can I do for you Lisa

I've told you the story about my firstborn -Rory

You have -Lisa

Can you help me find her -Rory

Yes I can -Lisa

But can I ask why -Lisa

I need this closure to know she's ok. But I also realize that I owe her an explanation plus if she and Tali ever want a relationship between them then I want a way for Tali to reach out -Rory

Even if it means that you won't have a relationship with her -Lisa

Yes. I will respect her choice if she doesn't want me in her life then am fine with that I just want to know she's ok and I also do owe her the truth about why I gave her up -Rory

Karli am not sure about her last name but she looked a lot like me when she was a baby -Rory

So a red-haired teen -Lisa

She had curly red hair when she was a baby unless she outgrew that -Rory

I'll keep that in mind. Anything else -Lisa

Rory then spends a little while telling Lisa everything she remembers
