Levi would wake up at 7 like he would every morning for school, he got ready for school and went downstairs to get breakfast, but his mother wasn't making breakfast, as soon as he got down there his mother ordered him to sit, "Levi, sit down, I have to tell you something." His father came down the stairs with his 14-year-old brother Luke, and 6-year-old sister Lucy, they looked like they were sleep-deprived, Levi said, "Mornings, Right?" His family chuckled, everyone sat down beside Levi's mom and dad. "Ik hou van je" Levi's parents said, the 3 siblings said "Ik hou van je" back, it was basically a religious saying at this point. Their mom started talking, "Now we have some important news, no one is going to school because we're going into hiding into what we call the solder." "What's the Solder?" Said Lucy. "It means attic, I've been learning Afrikaans," said Luke. "Is it because of Adolf Hitler momma?" Said Levi. "Yes, we will start packing at half past 7, we should be done by 9, and our transportation should be here by 9:45." said momma. They would eat, talk, and play a quick round of chess, they packed and packed until 9:03, they waited and waited when finally a car arrived outside. They hurried outside and quickly put their suitcases in the car and then quickly got in, the car drove for what felt like forever, but what was actually just 10 minutes. The 3 children wanted to cry but were trying to hold back the tears, but they couldn't take it anymore, they cried a river for their prior house. "I understand why you're upset, but you 3 need to be quiet, we can't have anyone hearing us, because we arrived."
