Ejiro Kirishima × reader "Nightmares"

You woke up in the middle of the night. You rolled over to see your boyfriend muttering and moving around. You noticed he was sweating too. He seemed to be having a night mare. You shook his shoulder.

"Hey Ejiro! Ejiro! Wake up! Ejiro!" You kept shaking him.

Finally, he shot up. He looked like he was fixing yo burst into tears. That was till he noticed you.

"Hey Eji! You okay?" You leaned over and hugged him.

"O-of course I am!" He nervously laughed.

You sat up and cupped his face.

"You are the worst liar in the world! Do you want to talk about it?"

"No. I'm fine. Really Y\N."

"You sure. You know I'm here if you need to talk."

You gently kissed his lips.

"I know." He smiled.

You returned the smile. You laid back down and held out your arms. Your boyfriend laid down with you. You wrapped your arms around his neck and let him bury his face onto your chest. His arms wrapped around your hip.

"Night sharky!"

"Night pebble."

You smiled and fell back to sleep.

The same thing happened two more nights.

You woke up again to see your boyfriend having another nightmare. You shook him awake like you did the last few times.

"Ejiro! Wake up!"

He shot up.

"Oh! Y\N! I'm sorry I woke you."

"Ejiro." You had a worried look on your face.

"Ejiro, this is the fourth time you've had a night mare. Please. Please tell me what's going in. I want to help." You rested your hand on his cheek.

"Nothing Y\N."

"Stop! Please! Tell me! I'm getting worried! I want to help you! Please let me!"

"Y\N."

"Tell me. Please Ejiro."

"It was just a silly nightmare."

"Silly? This is the forth time! Fourth time I've woken up to find you in a cold sweat, mumbling!"

"I didn't meant to wake you."

"Ejiro! Stop! Stop apologizing! If you're really sorry, then talk to me! Please. Please talk to me!" At this point you had tears building up in your eyes.

He sighed. He noticed a tear fall down your face. He wiped the tear away with his thumb.

"Okay. I had a dream that you left me for someone else. And it... I hurt! It seemed so real!" You could see he was really trying not to cry.

You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him close.

"You can cry if you need to Ejiro." You spoke in a soft tone.

He pulled away till he was looking you in the eyes.

"But, I'm supposed to be strong for you! You said I was your rock! I have to be strong!"

"You are! You are strong Ejiro. And you are my rock. Nothing will change that. I'm here for you, and I will never leave. I know I can come to you anytime I need to let everything out. I want you to feel the same way with me. Come here."

He wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face into your neck. You could feel your neck becoming wet. You could hear quiet sobs. You ran your hands through his hair and rocked back and forth.

You laid down on your back. You held onto your boyfriend as he cried softly.

"I love you Ejiro. I'm not leaving. You know that right?"

"I know. I love you too." His voice cracked a little.

You smiled as you heard his breathing slow. You knew he had fallen asleep. You soon fell asleep as well, still holding onto your boyfriend.
