Barking again.

My mind was filled with different loud sounds.

Knock knock knock knock

My eyes abruptly opened and i shot up from where i was laying with a gasp.

I scanned my eyes around the room confusion filling my thoughts.

Knock knock

"Amy!"

Oh right, the noises weren't in my dream this is happening right now.

I rubbed my eyes and pulled the heavy duvet from off my body. I slung my legs over the bed to the floor and stood up, wandering out of my bedroom door and slowly down the stairs.

"Shhh" i hushed the dog from her barking at the fact someone was banging on my door.

I knew it was Maddie, i heard her shout my name and my window was open.

I was confused why she hasn't just let herself in like she usually does.

I stop in front of the door and reach out for the handle to open it.

Ah that's why.

It's locked.

I huffed to myself and spun back around to grab my keys from the kitchen. I grabbed my key from the hook covered in the mound of key rings and quickly unlocking the door.

I pulled the handle down and opening the door so my best friend was in view.

"Took your time" she spoke with a hint of annoyance in her tone. She walked straight through my house and into the kitchen.

I followed behind and spoke "i was asleep" trying to defend myself.

"I gathered" she said with her back to me, pulling open the fridge and pulling a bottle of water out.

"What time even is it?" i was still confused.

She grabbed her phone "10:04"

"Not to be rude, but what is it you're here for?" she's obviously not going to be offended by what i'm asking, but i am genuinely confused why she's here right now, i don't think we had anything planned.

"Well it's Friday, i think we should go to a club" she said excitedly.

I rolled my eyes.

Okay right, don't get me wrong, i love going out and drinking it's fun, but Maddie does it a lot. It's hard to keep up with sometimes.

"Again?" i said unfazed.

She nodded "yes again, Zayn was telling me about this new club that's recently opened actually, he's friends with the bouncers so you won't get asked for ID"
