Unexpected Turn

After y/n read the letter she stayed in bed for days without leaving. She ended up quitting her job, skipping multiple of her classes at school, and not talking to anyone even her friends. I had been two weeks of this and she finally thought to herself y/n what are you doing? you are young and dumb and unfortunately fell in love with an older woman, I mean who hasn't everyone has fallen in love or had a crush with an older person once. Alright I think it's time to get up and start to move on with life. Y/n started to get her life back together, she emailed her professors apologizing for not attending classes for 2 weeks and they said it is fine but she will have to work extra hard for the last months of school left. Y/n worked her ass off and she also had lots and LOTS of one night stands and she went out with friends almost every night but it wasn't until one night when y/n met this woman at a bar and she felt a spark for the first time in a couple weeks.

gosh who is this beautiful woman at the bar. I gotta go see her. Y/n says to the woman at the bar, "hi can I buy you a drink" the woman responds, "sure honey". They both stared and smiled at each other the whole night and ended up talking a lot too. She ended up finding out the beautiful brunette, brown eyed, and tall woman name was Marina and that she was 28.

Y/N: Soo...Marina, that's a beautiful name where are you from?

Marina: *smiling*thank you, I was born in France but I moved to New York about when I was 10 years old. So Y/n you've asked most of the questions tonight how about I ask you some? huh?

Y/N: ask away darling

Marina ends up asking her the basic questions like how old are you and do you have siblings all that. But then Marina asked y/n an unexpected question that she did not expect.

Marina: So when was your last relationship?

Y/n was very hesitant to answer but she did because this is part of her moving on.

Y/N: Umm... well it was about 2 months ago and we were only together for a couple months and well I did something very stupid and she just abandoned me after I guess. What about you when was your last relationship?

Marina: oh wow I'm sorry honey..My last relationship was about 3 years ago, my ex-fiance just didn't want to be together anymore after being together for about a 2 years she said she doesn't think we are meant for each other so I guess ever since then I haven't really been in relationships much.

Y/N: Oh did you give up on relationships? *y/n asks very sad after she heard marina say she hasn't really dated much.*

Marina: I'm not sure I haven't really found a girl that has interested me. WAIT actually there is one she is very sexy, beautiful,and has an amazing personality. I think she is standing infant of me but don't tell her I kinda of have a crush on her.

y/n realizes marina was talking about her and she starts to look around pretending to act clueless but she can't help but smile. She looks at her phone and realizes its already 2am and she has class at noon and she hasn't gotten much sleep.

Y/N: Marina. Im sorry but I have to go back home, I'm a little bit tired I haven't been able to sleep since school is finishing soon.

Marina: Oh yea no problem totally get it! Why don't I walk you home?

y/n gets a flashback as to the last time when she brought someone to her home it did not end up well

Y/N: no! it's ok no worries it was great meeting you.

As y/n turns back Marina calls her name

Marina: When I can see you again. I hope you didn't think this was it. she says smiling

Y/N: Well why don't I give you my number and you text me whenever you want to go out and talk again and I'll tell you if I'm available. *says with a smirk*

Both women exchange numbers and hug each other before leaving and heading their own ways. As y/n made it into her apartment she got 2 things delivered to her. One was Marina and her text message said...

Had a great time tonight. Why don't we go out again on a proper date? say tomorrow 8pm? I'll pick you up. -Marina :)

I also had a great time and tomorrow night sounds perfect. I'll send you my address later.-Y/N ❤️

As y/n was about to enter her apartment she sees a vase with flowers outside her apartment and looks for a card saying anything and when she finds it she can't believe what she reads... I still love you y/n -C.B.

Y/N is in complete shock she doesn't know what to do.
