Washington POV-
"Here it is sir," Alex says pointing to the stone tower.
"Thanks Alex, you should stay hid-"
"Washington finally!" I hear a voice say coming from the tower. "Wait....Alex?" The man says approaching us.
"L-Laurens? I thought....you died!" Alex yells back rushing over to Laurens and hugging him.
"Can't get rid of me that easily, Laf and Herc are alive as well and here," Laurens says which made Alex's face light up. "So I see you met lieutenant George Washington?"
"Yeah he did, he saved my ass basically-" I reply which made him look over to me. "The wind made my parachute fall into a tree and it was basically choking me,"
"Wow,"
"Anyways, Laurens do you know why he was sent here?" Alex ask. Laurens looks around and nods.
"I will have to tell you in the tower Alex,"
He motioned us to follow him into the tower and we do. After Alex flooded Lafayette, Mulligan, and Laurens with questions- Laurens started.
"So, the reason why Washington was sent here is because we need to help the rebels from here, and not in the colonies,"
"We were told he was also one of the best, that wasn't a general that is," Lafayette adds on and I smile faintly.
"Mulligan found some canons on the shoreline, and we need to move them," Laurens continued. "That's the first part,"
I nod and Alex does as well.
"I still don't understand....how have you been alive all this time?"
"Well the British tried to kill us cause they thought we were spies, if they found out we were still alive more people would get killed," Mulligan says as Laurens + Lafayette nods.
"So, what's the plan on the canons?" I ask which made Laurens look up.
"Oh yeah, at nightfall you, me, Lafayette, and Herc move the canons,"
"What about me?" Alex asks.
"You...want to help?" Lafayette says.
"Yes please!"
Laurens laugh and nods.
"As long as you are careful," Mulligan says as Alex smiles ear to ear.
"I forgot to say, thanks son for saving me,"

Alex POV-

S-son? W-what? I look down after he says it, and I just nod. Before I could say anything I see a cat trot in.
"Smokey? How the hell did you get here!" Washington says bending down to Smokey.
Meow!
"You know the cat?" Laurens asks.
"He is my pet, I have no clue how he got here,"
