Alex POV-
"Okay so," Laurens says as we make it to the shore. "We need to move these fast, Washington and Mulligan can get some and us three can get some got it?"
We all nod and he nods back. We make out way to the canons and start moving it.
"I didn't think canons were this heavy!" I say laughing and Lafayette laughs back.
"It's going to take is the rest of the night to move o-" Laurens says but was cut off my Washington and Mulligan moving the canons next to them with no problems.
"W-wha-" Lafayette says.
"You three can keep watch where we are putting the canons if you would like, we don't mind," Mulligan says laughing and us three nod. We found a hole big enough to fit them into it yesterday. So that's where we are putting them, it ain't far. So us three head there as they pile the canons in, around 3 in I saw someone walking with a flashlight.
"Someone is there!" I whisper to Laurens + Lafayette, they nod and Lafayette runs to the other two and tells them. We hide in the hole and we put a boulder over it.
"Sir," A voice says. "Someone is trying to steal our canons, two are missing and one is in the middle of the road.
Has to be more than one person
"Yeah I know general but I am just telling you,"
We will look into it in the morning
"I am staying here General till dawn,"
How will we get out? I thought. Then I had an idea.
"Washington can you lift the boulder up?" I whisper and he gives me a confused look but nods. He does so a small amount where I can fit through and he can see through as well.
"Hey dickhead!" I yell out and the man turns around.
"The fuck you call me?" He ask clenching his gun and walking towards me. "You will pay kid!"
"Catch me first!" I yell and I run past him as he follows. Then I run past the rock again and I wink at Washington and he nods. We run for awhile, across the shoreline, in-between houses, and through roads. I was hoping the man was getting out of breath, but he kept running with me. Suddenly he caught up to me and pinned me to the ground.
"Any last words ki-" He says but then he gets tackled to the ground.
"Go go!" A familiar voice yells. It was Burr. The last person I thought I would see. I run off and soon after he catches up to me.
"Thanks Burr!"
"What the hell are you doing out here anyway?"
"I will have to show you," I say looping back around to the beach. When we get there I saw the moving the last canon into the hole. When Laurens saw me he ran over and hugged me.
"You idiot I thought you were a goner!"
"L-Laurens...Laf...Mulligan!?!?" Burr asks and Laurens laughs.
"Surprise!"
Washington walks over to us and says,
"Who is he?"
"That's Aaron Burr....sir!" I say laughing.
"One, that was what we used to say as kids, two are you a rebel?"
"Yes I am, I will explain at the stone tower,"
We make our way to the tower and was met with Smokey meowing up a storm- Me and Laurens explained about Washington and the canons.
"Wow...I would like to help any way possible," Burr says smiling.
"Thanks Burr sir!" Lafayette says.
"Stop calling me that-"
