Vacation Part 4: Family Tension

It was nighttime on the island of Kauai and the moon was all that was lighting the land

It was quiet in a nearby pond as the water was calm and the area was silent there haven't been much of anything out here tonight because they were hiding from something

But the question was

What was it they were hiding from?

The ground then shakes as ripples began forming in the water and the trees shake as well

There was a creature that was shaking the ground with each step it took and was heading to the pond

The creature sure looked like a t-rex but at the same time it was anything but a normal T-Rex that grew up on this island, no it was something more sinister

It was a hyper hybrid

The rex was colored purple and had a grey underbelly and had bright purple markings around it's body but the most unusual thing about it was it's eyes

Pure black without a shred of life in them despite the fact it was a living creature
What was this thing? How was it able to live without a soul? Without any life inside of it? How was it able to move and roar like a real T-Rex?

These were the questions people always asked when they saw these creatures because even they don't have a explanation as to why these things still live despite the fact they look as good as dead

The hyper hybrid walked over to the pond as it inspected the pond

Some hyper hybrids were intelligent but it was always the bigger ones who were not as smart as the smaller ones because this one was distracted so much by the pond it didn't know it was being watched

Two orange eyes were right behind where the hyper hybrid was and whatever creature those eyes were attached to it was watching the hyper hybrid as it inspects the pond

The hyper hybrid then lowered it's head and began to drink from the pond but despite drinking it's thirst wasn't clenched or what little thirst it has left in its body

The orange eyed creature then started walking slowly towards the hyper hybrid as it was preparing an ambush

The hyper hybrid kept drinking from the pond as if it was actually trying to clench it's thirst

The creature behind the hyper hybrid started getting closer and as it did it's eyes glowed a bright orange and what happened next perfectly sums up why you never turn your back at night especially if you're alone on this island

A massive breath of orange fire erupted from behind the hyper hybrid as it roared in pain it's back was burning as the flames raged on

The hyper hybrid then fell to the ground as the flames stopped and the creature got even closer

The creature then walked towards the hyper hybrid and moved around to the right side of it's body and then placed it's left foot on it's neck

The hyper hybrid roared in anger but the orange eyed creature ignored it and bit down on the neck of the hyper hybrid and slowly crushed it's neck and killed it

Whatever that creature was it was the reason why so many other animals hide at night because they are afraid they might become one of it's victims

LATER AT 7:30 AM

The team were already awake and they were discussing a lot of things but mainly on how where to find the other hyper hybrids and how to dispose of them

Valerie and David weren't apart of the discussion since they were too busy bonding with their little sister stormy while they were in the passenger coach of the dinosaur train
