“Hey Mozuni!” Denver shouted.
I looked back and smiled at him. He run towards me.
“Who's that?” he asked, pertaining to the person who drove me here in the campus.
“Ahh, wala 'yon,” I replied.
“I saw you..,” he said and staring at the money on my hands.
I tap his shoulder and walks inside the campus together.
“H-he paid you?” he said, stuttering.
“No... Don't misunderstand it. It is just his thing,” I shrugged my shoulders and smiled at him.
The half schedule of class has ended, we directly went to the cafeteria to have our lunch.
“Here! Momo!” my sister Nathalie Yaz Reddit shouted.
Me and Denver walked together towards their location and yes the school councils student are all present.
I looked around, I can't even find his presence. Is he really avoiding me?
“Uhh...” I sighed as I sat down.
“Kung hinahanap mo jowa mo, wala siya dito,” Ruby Jane said.
“Huh?” I uttered.
“You both acting weird tho,” Irene said.
“Did you guys broke up?” my sister asked.
I shook my head a bit and looked down before I answer.
“Yeah,” a short response from me, ended with a smile.
I looked at Denver 'cause I can feel that he's looking at me.
He break the silence, awkward ambiance.
“Who are up for the performance of the school band gig tomorrow night?” he asked.
All eyes on me, they know that Mavy is one of the members of the band. I just smiled at them as an approval.
I saw Irene giving death glare to her brother Denver. I laughed.
“It's fine guys, after a tiring day we need to have fun, right?” I suggested.
“Tomorrow is saturday so we can rest on sunday after having fun,” Denver said, smiling without his eyes.
“Yeah, alright,” George said.
“You sure?” my brother Louis asked.
“I'm fine, we are good,” I answered.
“Guys, carps?” Seul said that makes us laughed.
“Scoobs, dude...” Jaz said.
“Kayong dalawa 'yang ka-conyohan niyo itigil niyo na,” Irene said.
“Let them be, duh. We are all conyo naman here,” Ruby Jane said.
George gave her an emotionless look, she rolled her eyes on him.
“Anyway...” my sister interrupted.
“I heard God Jill that there will be a new transferee student?” she asked.
“Ahh, kapatid namin 'yon,” Jaz said.
“Is she pretty?” Seul asked.
We laughed together cause Irene, his girlfriend pull his ears.
“Of course, she is. Nasa dugo namin 'yan duh,” Jaz said proudly.
“Kaya pala anemic ka,” Louis teased.
