"WHAT!?" Tommy was shouting as Wilbur read a note from Dream aloud. Dream wanted war. I already knew that, but that didn't quite make me feel any better about having to fight against my best friends and allies. I had to act like I hadn't expected this though, so I sat there on the stairs up to the camarvan, acting shocked and angry. I rested my chin in my hand, pretending to think. Luckily nobody saw through my façade, except for Eret, was pacing in circles, acting anxious. Damn, we were a good team.

Eret and I had stayed up that first night talking about 'how we met' and the fake stories we had made for ourselves if anyone got suspicious. I told them all about my talk with Wilbur and ranted about how he was being a bit of a dick. Eret had laughed with me, instead of at me, which felt nice. Eret and I had also decided that I should pretend to train the others, but not really give them proper skill or technique. We had to stay on their good side after all.

"We are at war, there is no mercy," Wilbur read. "We have burnt down Tubbo's house, we have planted TNT cannons around your land. We have cobblestone walled the outside and we have shot one warning shot inside your walls. We have no mercy for you. We will burn down your houses, we will kill everything inside your walls, and we will take back the land that is rightfully ours. If you do not surrender - I want to see white flags outside your base tomorrow by dawn or you are DEAD."

"My house?" Tubbo said quietly, in a sad, questioning tone. He put his head in his hands, staring at the ground in thought. While I did feel a little bad for the boy, I also didn't really care too much, as I'd never actually spoken to him. Tommy rubbed Tubbo's back in a comforting way, trying to ease up the tension.

"Well, Y/N," Wilbur said, looking up at me from where he sat, "if we're gonna win this we need your help more now than ever." His dark eyes stared up into my own. We hadn't talked a lot since the first night, just said good morning and good night.

"They wouldn't actually plant TNT, right?" Fundy asked worriedly, his orange ears pointing down.

I had learnt that Fundy, the fox looking guy, was actually Wilbur's son, which was a little weird. I didn't get into their business though, not asking about Fundy's mother or why he was a fox. In fact, Fundy hadn't even been the one to tell me, he was still too scared to come near me. I had over heard him and Tubbo talking at one point; talking about me.

"They scare me," Fundy had said, "weren't they friends with Dream?"

"Well, yeah but people change," Tubbo had argued optimistically. "Besides, Dream is a bit of a dick, so they probably realised that and wanted revenge or something. I don't know, but they seem nice; they're also really good at PVP."

"I guess you're right," Fundy had admitted. "But they still scare me."

I was kind of glad that Fundy was scared of me; made it easier to just do what I had to do and not get attached. But I guess I was also glad that Tubbo thought fondly of me, he seemed very nice and maybe if he survived, we could be friends. I doubted that though, once they found out that I was a spy, they'd probably all hate me and want me dead. Which was why Eret would be the only one revealed after the first battle.

Eret and I had been taking turns in digging the tunnel to the room where we would sabotage the others. We had planned everything out with Dream in the middle of the night whilst telling him all that we'd observed. Dream also told me that night to keep up my façade, pretending to train them and help them.
