As Thanksgiving rolled around, Betty and Jughead's snooping slowed down. They had more important things to worry about like where they were eating and who they were eating with. It was assumed that Jughead's family would be eating with Betty's but with Alice and FP's budding romance, having Gladys over for dinner didn't seem like the best idea.

"Betty, I am a grown woman I know how to handle myself. We can have a nice meal with Gladys without making a scene." Alice reassured.

"Mom, obviously I trust you but you know you have a thing for drama. Your whole job is making a big deal out of things."

Before Alice could respond, there was a knock at the door. Alice and Betty looked at each other before Betty walked over to the front door and opened it. Through the doorframe, stood Jughead Jones and his dad, FP.

"Oh, hey guys." Betty said as she stepped aside to let the two of them through.

"Hi Betty, hey Alice." FP said as he walked through the door. Jughead nodded at the two of them.

"Hello, FP." Alice replied, smiling. Have a seat." She gestured towards the couch where FP and Jughead sat down, Alice and Betty took a seat across from them.

"So, how has your day been?" Alice inquired.

"Oh, the usual. Shift at Pop's was nothing new, and the Boys just got back from School." FP responded, leaning forward to kiss Alice. Jughead and Betty covered their eyes as they usually did when their parents did that sort of thing. They weren't entirely sure if the situation was legal but everyone figured that since they weren't related by blood, there were ethical issues, but no legal ones.
FP and Alice laughed at the sight of their children as they separated.

"So, FP. Do you have plans for Thanksgiving?" Alice questioned her partner.

"Why are you offering?" FP chuckled. Betty and Jughead looked at each other before Betty started talking.

"We were assuming that you would have dinner with us. We just weren't sure what Gladys and Jellybean's plans were, if you were having dinner together or separately. We would love to have all of you over, but obviously it depends on what they want to do."

FP and Jughead both smiled at the two girls. "Well, I'll have to ask but i don't see there being a problem. Assuming it's alright with you, Alice."

"Of course it is. I suggested it." Alice grinned.

FP called Gladys and asked if she was interested in everyone spending thanksgiving together. She seemed to be hesitant at first, talking about having other plans, but after some coercion from both FP and Jughead, she accepted the offer.
