I dropped the prop box and went to the door. I looked both ways then locked the door and went to the door. I shone my flashlight again and crept into the empty passage. There was very little place for me to stand erect, so I decided to crawl in. After a few crawls, my head hit the wall in front of me. I reached out my hand and it again touched a metal ring and the air tag which was stuck to the wall with tape. I pulled the ring harder this time and all the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. I could not believe what I saw with my own eyes. In front of me was the ladder. The tragic ladder from the theatre. I touched the sides of the door and was about to get out when something sharp scratched my hand. I shone my torch there and found a piece of fine aluminum string. I exactly knew what that meant. "Delia was right, someone came here after I went down, just to make Noah trip and fall. The person must have come and tied the string to the ladder. It must have accessed the ladder via this tunnel, otherwise we should have seen him. Now, who did this?"
There were five minutes left before the show and I knew that the so-called Phantom was still on loose.
I managed to close all the doors and opened the door leading outside and ran just so I could find Headmaster Chloe so I could tell her all this. Meanwhile, I texted scores of cactus emoji to Mikey, Roxie, and Delia expecting them to notice and come.
