This one shot takes place a year after the part one just for clarification. Andy and Robert have been married for a little over six months and have two kids.

Andy was in half asleep waiting for Robert to come home from his 24 shift her two daughters Katie and lily were at pruitts for the weekend. when her phone started ringing hey maya Andy said with a groggy voice. oh hey sorry did I wake you up. no I have trouble sleeping when Robert isn't here andy just kinda laughed. And once she mentioned Robert she could feel how tense maya got even over the phone. Andy maya said softly robert was hurt in a fire. WHAT Andy said practically screaming. Where is he? We're all at grey Sloan and I sent Ben to go get you maya said trying to calm down andy. No I can't wait for Ben I have to go now andy said frantically getting dressed into actual clothes. no andy you can't drive right now and I can't risk getting you both hurt just wait for Ben he will be there in like two minutes. fine andy said finally letting some tears fall from her cheek as she hung up on maya. Soon enough Ben knocked on the door and Andy went outside immediately how bad is it andy asked. we don't know yet all we know is he is in surgery Ben responded trying to calm her down. Ben what the hell happened andy asked practically sobbing. |FLASHBACK TO THIS MORNING| Robert woke up with Andy on his chest he hated knowing he had to go into work without her today. He kissed her head and tried to slip out of the room without waking her . So your just gonna kiss me like that and not say good morning Andy asked. he turned back I didn't want to wake you love he responded. What time do you have shift andy asked while drawing imaginary circles on his arm. In about two hours perks of being the battalion chief he said sarcastically. She just smiled after Robert left she threw on one of his crew shirts which was a dress on her but she didn't mind. When Robert walked into the station he went to his office to do some paperwork when a call came in since they didn't request battalion he stayed back to work on paper work and it had been a few hours when battalion was requested he showed up to an apartment fire which they were planning to attack from the outside fine the inside of the building was to unstable and the team was sure they got everyone out. until a lady ran up to Sullivan asking where her daughter was and in that moment all Sullivan could think about was his girls and Andy what he would do if they were in that building and before he could think he was already heading inside he managed to get the little girl out of the building to safety but as soon as he exited the building he passed out. Omg Andy said after Ben told her everything. Andy I know it's a lot to process but we need to get to the hospital like right now Ben said. Once they got to the hospital and rushed in and saw the whole team in the waiting room no one bothered to ask Andy how she was they could see it on her face she was broken and if Sullivan didn't survive andy probably wouldn't either. After about five hours in the waiting room dr. Bailey and dr. Grey came to speak to Andy. how is he? Is he okay? Can I see him? Andy asked before the doctors could speak. yes andy he is fine he isn't awake yet but that's just because of the drugs he's on but he should wake up any minute. Do you want to see him Meredith asked Andy could only get in a nod before Meredith led her to the icu where Robert was being held. I'll give you two some privacy Meredith said. Thank you mer so much Meredith just smiled. Robert was still asleep when she got in his room and she couldn't see him like this she needed some support so she called in Travis her and Travis have become really close over the past year when maya and Andy were fighting. Hey Trav do you think you can come with me andy asked and Travis just took her hand and lead her into Sullivan's room. after a while andy had fallen asleep with her head on Travis's legs and her legs on the couch. after a few hours Sullivan started to stir and then he remembered where he was and he felt a little sore but nothing to bad probably because of the drugs he was on. Once he started to fully wake up he saw Travis. Hey Travis said quietly so he wouldn't wake Andy. How is she he looked at Andy in there friends lap. Physically she's fine but mentally she's not doing to well Travis said. we didn't even tell her everything Travis said. What do you mean by that Robert asked confused Robert you coded three times during surgery. Robert just looked at Travis stunned what Robert asked. You were allergic to the first anesthesia they put you on which caused and allergic reaction during surgery which is why you coded. After that being said andy started to stir and Travis lifted her up onto roberts bed and left the room to give the couple some privacy. once Andy woke up she realized she was in Roberts arms and she held him so tight she was sure his stitches were going to come undone. shh I'm okay robert kept whispering into Andy's ear as she started to cry. dammit Robert she said as she pulled away don't you ever do that again you scared the hell out of me she said wiping her tears. I know I'm sorry but that little girl would be dead andy if I hadn't gone in there she would have died. Robert said and Andy just held him tighter and swore to never let go.
