|Mollie's POV |

Walking into school the first day was nothing out of the ordinary, I continued to my locker before heading to the library, I knew that I could always hang with Lexi but I'm not the biggest fan of the crowd she hangs with. I like Kyle, He's grown on me over the years and I love Isla, but the other boys, wouldn't trust them to shit
"Nice to see you back Mollie" Oscar said as I walked out of the library, I decided to try and head to my lesson early
"Hey Oscar" I smiled hugging him
"I heard about Noah" He said making me sigh and give him a warm smile
"Let's be honest we all saw it coming" I laughed and he chuckled probably feeling awkward about me laughing about it
"I don't know, I had hope for you both" He said making me shoot him a look before he began laughing
"Nice one" I said finally composing my laughter
"Well hey, ever need company you know where I am" he smiled, I smiled back before we said our goodbyes

I briefly walked past Lexi, gently tapping her on the shoulder she turned as I passed and smiled at me
I got to my lesson and sat straight at the back, less drama back here
"Okay class" Mr Matthews said about to start, the class was completely full except a seat near the door or one next to me, I wouldn't mind being able to sit on my own for the entire year
But my dreams were shortly destroyed when the door opened again
"Caiden you are late" Mr Matthews said giving him a side eye
"Come on Mr Matthews why do we have to start our year like this? No Hi Caiden great to have you here" Caiden smirked, how on earth he gets away with talking to them like that I have no idea
"Take a seat Caiden" He warned making Caiden chuckle before setting his eyes on the seat next to me before then looking at me with a smirk
"Hey there Mollie" He said sliding in to his claimed seat, I shot him a look before looking back at Mr Matthews who had started talking
"Why won't you talk to me? I'm not that bad" he said making me roll my eyes while I made notes
"come on" He whined poking me, I put my pen down and looked at him
"I don't know what your problem is but you know I'm actually here to learn something" I warned him making him hold his hands up in surrender
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, he was silent for the rest of the lesson

Up until I walked out of the class room door for our short 10 minute break
"Hey, now you aren't busy learning" He said as I got to my locker, I was about to open when he glided over placing his hand on it stopping it from opening
"What do you want" I asked crossing my arm. I turned to see Lexi and the usual gang across the corridor
"I think your friends are waiting" I said giving him a look
"I'd rather stay here" He smirked
"in that case, I'll be leaving" I said turning on my feet but I should have known that wasn't going to be the end
"Following me isn't going to help you" I said stopping after a few steps to see him stood directly behind me
"What can I help you with Caiden?" I asked once again crossing my arms
"I just wanted to you know get to know you and shit" He smirked and I laughed
"Yeah that isn't going to happen" I said
"Why not? What's the harm in that?" he questioned
"there is no harm, I'm just not interested" I said before walking away to which he followed
"Hey Lex" I said hugging her
"I think you lost someone" I said pushing Caiden over allowing the boys to catch him
"Helen's tonight?" Lexi asked I smiled
"I'll be there" I smiled before saying my goodbyes
Caiden tried to follow but Lexi and Isla had my back by pushing him back to the boys
"Leave the poor girl alone" Isla warned
