Chapter Four

|Mollie's POV |

Coming to school the following morning I had mixed feelings in my head about a lot of things, but one thing I know for sure is that Jenn had some very valid points that I can't fault her on
I got to my locker only to see Lexi stood there with folded arms
"Oh? To what do I owe this pleasure?" I asked 
"Why did I hear that Noah and you are back together?" she asked honestly not looking impressed
"What?" I asked
"Brad told Kyle" she said
"well you can tell Kyle to tell Brad it isn't true. He called me last night wanting to sort things but after speaking to Jenn, I know it is a bad idea" I replied
"What did Jenn say?" she asked
"He's been sleeping around already" I said making Lexi scoff
"The nerve of that boy" She tutted, I chuckled before hugging her
"Thank you for looking out for me though Lex" I replied making her sigh and smile before hugging back

"You know, we have a lot of lesson's together" Caiden said coming over to me in the Library during our study period
"trust me, I'm aware" I said tapping my pen on the paper while he stood there smirking at me
"Hey, I wanted to thank you for last night" I replied making his smirk turn into a subtle smile
"That's alright, you good though?" he asked, I smiled and nodded before he took it upon himself to seat down
"Didn't realise that was an invite?" I asked him 
"Well it's the least you could offer" He replied turning that smile back to a smirk
"Okay" I said holding my hands up in surrender before continue to to work
I kept glancing up to see Caiden just sitting there on his phone looking at every girl that passed us. My first impression was right about him then
"Are you going to do any work this lesson?" I asked bringing him back from staring at a blonde
"hell no" he said looking at me in disgust
"if you like looking at her so much, why don't you go over to her?" I offered, he looked at me and smirked
"someone sounds a little jealous" He said leaning forward, I leant forward too, our faces millimetres apart 
"You wish Johnson" I replied calling him by his last name
"oh every nights Jacobs" He smirked trying to lean closer, I looked at him and couldn't help but smirk
"Think you'll have better luck with the blonde buddy" I said before closing my book and leaving him in the dust

|Caiden's POV|

I walked out of the library expecting to find Mollie somewhere feeling achieved but instead I was greeted with a empty corridor, how on earth she got away that first I won't know
"What are you doing man?" Kyle asked coming out of his science lesson
"I was talking to Mollie but she bailed again" I said making him laugh
"so it's still not going well then" he asked holding in his laughter as he spoke
"I've got time mate" I said before running up the corridor determined to find this girl 
Truth be told, I never chase after girls this much. But hey a dare is a dare right?
I got to the end of the corridor and there she was sat on the bench in the greenroom, kind of like a outside room inside? 
"Hey!" I called grabbing her attention, she looked at me and laughed before turning back to her work. This was not the end Mollie
I walked into the green room and stood in front of her half expecting her to look up at me but like come on, we could have all seen that wasn't going to happen
"Why did you run off like that?" I asked sitting in front of her
"because I was done in the library?" She offered
"No you weren't. You were trying to get away from me" I said refusing her excuse
"oh yeah?" She asked
"Yeah!" I exclaimed
"and why would I need to get away from you Caiden?" She asked tapping her pencil once more
"I don't know, hence the chase" I replied smirking at her
"What happened to your blonde in the library?" She asked
"ooo here comes miss jealousy again" I smirked making her roll her eyes
"Caiden, I couldn't give a shit who you look at. I was merely helping you by leaving you alone with her" she argued
"But i didn't want to be alone with her. If I had I would have made that happen" I replied making Mollie scoff
"Then, what is it you want" she asked. The golden question
"you" I replied making her roll her eyes again
"I want to take you on a date" I continued and she just chuckled again
"Nice try" She replied before the bell rung and she walked away again
Will I ever catch a break with this one? beginning to think this is a lost cause...
