TERU'S POV

I wasn't sure how to act towards Reigen when I woke up the following day, I wanted to apologise but everytime I looked at him.. my mouth went dry.

"Finally the prince awakens" Serizawa joked, "Rei is in there with Kageyama! Go say hello kiddo"

"I'm going upto bed, see you" I sighed walking off but Serizawa pulled me into the kitchen by my sleeve.

When I entered, Reigen was cooking eggs and Kageyama was sat at the table drinking milk. I took a seat next to Kageyama and frowned at both of them, "Now what the hell is this?"

"Reigen is having me stay for a few nights whilst Ritsu and my parents are away, go back to bed if you're not happy" The raven haired boy huffed.

"Why should I? I fucking live here!?" I hissed and glared at Reigen, "You're such a pushover"

Reigen rolled his eyes and slammed his hands on his hips, the apron read 'Mummy's cooking rules', "Look it's for a few nights! No harm in that, is there?"

Serizawa burst out in a fit of laughter breaking the tense atmosphere, he swung his around Reigen and pointed at the apron, "That is the highlight of my-

Before he could finish, I slammed the kitchen door and walked out. How could Reigen listen to what I said yesterday, see how I acted around Kageyama and still let him stay over?  Was I just invisible to him? I embarrass myself by confessing my love for the boy and here he is like nothing happened, as if those quarrels and fights we had that emotionally tore us apart meant nothing. I get that Tsubomi rejecting hurt him but he needs to get over her and get over this stupid attitude he's fencing me from.

As I got into the shower, I let the hot water soak my body and run off me burning into my flesh, and that's when it hit me. If Kageyama was the one to help me change and evolve to who I am now then perhaps all I need to do is try to do the same thing, right? All I had to do was try hard..I can do thi-

"Yoo kiddo, can you nip to the shop with Mob? We need bread and-

"Yeah sure, has he got a list?" I smiled.

"Oh right yeah"

Kageyama didn't say a word as we walked to the shop and even though I wanted to make conversation I just couldn't find the words to say or the right actions to take. With each step he felt further and further away from me and I felt like an ant on his shoe that had been splattered. It shattered me to see him grow so far away from me and become so distant, I just wanted to go back to when we would have sleepovers at his house.. or maybe I just wished we could practice kissing again, huh?

"Did my kiss mean anything to you Kageyama?" I asked as we walked.

He looked behind his shoulder and raised a brow, "I suppose when it happened, it meant a lot more than practice..but that doesn't matter now, does it?"

I grabbed his hand and looked at him softly, "Please I don't know what I did to you for you to be so against me or if it was even because of me but please let me make you better, you're sick"

Kageyama scoffed and pushed me away, "Just hurry up or you'll fall too far behind"

Having my own words spat back at me twisted my stomach and I began to realise that maybe I wasn't strong enough to carry on fighting for him but there was no way I was giving up, "Kiss me"

"What..are you even fuckin-

I grabbed his shirt and pushed my lips against his, trapping him in the space he stood, "Please"
