TERU'S POV

The next day went on as it usually did, Kageyama went and did his usual things whilst I did mine. Fortunately to break the ice, I only had PE with him today which got awkward when I accidentally beat him in a race but..you can't exactly blame me for that, right?

On the way out of school, I grabbed my bag from my locker and was greeted by a angry-looking Ritsu glaring straight at me, "Oi you"

I turned around with a small chuckle, "You talking to me?"

"Yeah I am"

"I don't have time for this, Reigen is gonna pick me up from the bus stop, just move out of my way, alright?" I smiled shortly.

"And what if I don't?" Ritsu scoffed, "Get a grip and go sort out your shit with my brother before you get your ass kicked again"

"Ritsu?" Kageyama frowned, "Why're you talking to Teru like that? Just leave it, will you? I don't need you and Sho sticking up for me"

"Clearly you do-

"Puberty, huh?" I laughed running out of the school doors and to the bus stop where Reigen was waiting.

"Took your time kid..I was beginning to think you had detention!" Reigen forced a laugh and put up and umbrella, "Cmon lets hurry"

Every Friday, Reigen and I would go shopping once he got paid and it was kind of fun however that happy vibe was replaced with a dismal, gloomy atmosphere. It felt like it was choking me, I couldn't even find the words to say to try and break the tension.

"What happened today at school then? I was speaking with the Kageyama's and apparently Mob has been a real menace.." Reigen muttered picking up a jar of jam and gasping at the price shoving the label in my face.

I let out a small laugh and sighed, "Yeah he must have been rejected again"

Reigen widened his eyes and his lips pressed together tightly before a loud sigh filled the air, "It's not funny to joke about that kiddo"

"Right" I nodded.

The rest of the shopping trip and ride home on the bus was very quiet and boring. Despite me being adopted by Reigen and Serizawa they had always had open arms for Kageyama which I was sometimes jealous of stupidly. They defended him a lot if I made a snide comment or just mentioned any arguements I have had with him, they always took his side and said 'but it's okay kids always get into arguments' or 'i'm sure mob had his reasons for doing that!'.

Excusing Kageyama's cruel nature and ways towards me for sometimes no reason at all was very odd, I always thought a part of them would believe me from time to time yet a part of me wonders.. Am I just filling a gap Reigen couldn't fill with Kageyama?

"Just a return ticket from Pepper Walk, thanks" The familiar voice asked, "It shouldn't be any more than 300 yen?"

The bus driver mumbled curse words under his breath, "Just get on kid"

The black, bowlcutted haired kid sat down and looked towards me, "Hanazawa?"

My stomach knotted and I felt instantly sick, "Hey Kageyama"

"It's wonderful to see you, Mob! What's up..Why don't you sit with us?" Reigen smiled cheerfully at the raven haired boy, "Let's catch up"

"No..you're alright" Kageyama mumbled and looked away with a grumble.

Jealousy? Jealous of what? Don't tell me..

"God fucking grow up" I hissed as me and Reigen got off the bus.

As the bus sped off a slight panic filled my body as Reigen walked upto me with a stern look in his eyes, "What's going on, tell me! You've been acting so weirdly lately and as your parent I should know these things"

"You were more of a parent to him that you ever will be with me, I bet you don't even want me! You just wish you had your good little-

Reigen caved me in a hug and cried, "Not at all..never!"

I pushed him away and grabbed the bags, "I'm not stupid and I know what I see when I look at you both, it gives me shivers"
