Ella and Leo (Brothers Best Friend)

10 - midnight

I woke up the next day refreshed.
"Hey" I say looking up at Leo.
"Hey" he said kissing my forehead as we get up and get breakfast. "Hey I'm going out with Kevin tonight" Leo said.
"Fun, I was thinking about calling Bree, and having a night in" I say still eating my breakfast.
"Really" he said.
"Yeah" I say.
"I'll leave after breakfast, I'll see you at school on Monday" he said.
"I'll miss you" I say laughing.
"Yeah, I'll miss you" he said bonking my nose.
I laughed

ME: Hey want to come over and have a girls night in

ME: I need to relax

BREE: Me too. But I have to baby sit tonight. How about next week.

ME: Sure, sounds perfect. Have fun ;)

I ended up staying in. It was just past midnight when I got a call from Leo.
"Hey what's wrong" I say looking at the time.
"I just- can we just stay on the phone. Pretend that you are here with me" he said I could hear he was holding back tears.
"Yeah yeah I'll stay on the phone" I say getting up and putting my shoes on. His house was only 4 blocks away, I was scared walking alone in the dark but I had to go see Leo. It was silent for a while before I heard him speak. "You still there" "yeah I'm still here" "I'll always be here for you" I say as I reach his house his parents leave there spare keys in the light switch cover. I pulled out the key and opened the door.

"What was that noise" I heard Leo say through the phone. "Nothing nothing" I say as I get to his door. I open the door and hang up the phone.

"Hey there" I say standing in the door
"Hey what are you doing" I hear him say getting up from the covers. The room pitch dark.
"No no, stay there" I say
Sliding in next to him I hug him tight.
"You didn't have to do this" he said.
"I wanted to" I say kissing his cheek.

I moved in closer to him with my arms wrapped around him. He usually wraps me in his arms but he needed me I was the one protecting him.
I could see that he didn't want to talk about it right now so I didn't ask.
I felt him slowly fall asleep in my arms. I kissed his head before falling asleep too.

The next morning I woke up before Leo he was still sleeping. I slowly got up not waking him.

I went down stairs and saw his mum I have always been close to his mum, which is ironic because I thought I hated him. But his dad wasn't around a lot. "Hello" I say. "I came it late last" I told her while making breakfast, I was always very welcome there it was like a second home. "It's fine dear I heard Leo come in pretty upset, I'm glad you came" she told me "I always Knew you two would be together" she told me "well you knew before us" I say smiling.

I walked back upstairs to Leo's room. I closed the door and laid back beside him he woke up a minute later but I hadn't ate yet.

"Hey sleepy head" I say rubbing his head.
"Hey" he said running his eyes.
"You want something to eat" I say looking at the breakfast I made.

"Yes please" he said as I pasted Him a bowl as he ate.
"Thank you again for-" I cut him off.
"I thought I told you I wanted to come, you don't need to thank me I am your girlfriend" I say smiling down at him.
"Thank you from coming but that's not what I was going to say— I was going to say thank you for not asking me what happened last night, and just being there for me" he said still eating. "Sometimes if you tell someone what happened it makes it all real, you need to understand yourself what happened before telling people" I say kissing his cheek.
"You're not going to ask what happened" he said confused.
"I know you'll tell me when you are ready, not when I  want to hear it, I trust that you'll tell me in your own time" I say kissing him again before eating my breakfast.

Later Leo was on his phone on his chair and I was laying on his bed on my phone
"Hey" he said walking over to me.
Tilting my chin up.
"Has anyone ever told you that you are perfect" he said looking into my eyes.
I smile at him
"I love you" I say
"I love you" he said falling into a cuddle.

I knew we both meant it. We loved each other. We have went through hard times but we will get through it I want to know what happened last night but I don't have too, I'm happy knowing that he is happy.

Later I got home. Chase was sitting in the living room.
"Hey Ella" chase said as I walked in
"Hello" I say closing the door.

"Are mum and dad home" I say
"No they went shopping. They will be back in an hour or two" he said
"Oh okay, I'll be in my room" I say ask I take a step.
"Who were you just with" chase said
"A friend" I casually reply.
"So not Leo" he said.
"No not Leo, why" I told him, was I lying? Yes.
I lied I had to why did he want to know.
"Well I hate to say it but about 2 hours ago Leo was with another girl" chase said looking at me.
I had only left Leo's house 10 minutes ago and had been there since last night I knew chase was lying.
"Really, that's fine" I say
"Fine that your boyfriend is with another girl" he said.
"Yeah it's like if he were to hang out with you they are friends" I say back.
"They were kissing "he yelled .
"You're a lying piece of shit" I say throwing my shoes at him.
"No i'm not" he said
"I lied, I went over to Leo's last night and left 10 minutes ago and walked back" I yell "I wanted to see what you would say about him and now it know" " I hate you" I yell to him wow that was a lot I ran to my room locked my door and climbed out of my window and ran straight back to Leo's. I called Leo in my way over he was waiting outside for me I wasn't crying I was angry. I fell into his chest. "What's wrong" he said as we entered his room.

I told him what happened, he pulled me into a hug.
"I just though that chase had gotten over all this crap" I say sitting down on Leo's bed. "It's not like I would have believed him even if I wasn't with you" I say looking up at him.

"I think it's time for me to tell you what happened last night" Leo sighed "you don't have to but you can" I said.
"Well last night I went to Kevin's I was just sitting there when we decide to go out and get pizza. But when we got there Chase was there." He said sighing.
"He came over to us and everything was normal but then Kevin left to go to the bathroom, and he was like 'man I'm just saying this because you're my friend but Ella is dating someone else and is just trying to end it with you, that's why Kevin brought you out here' chase just keep going on and on" he said I held his hand tight. "I got mad at him and left the pizza place and drove out to our spot sat there for a bit before heading home and calling you" he said I hugged him tightly. "I never believed him" "I didn't want to tell you last night" Leo said "some other things happened but nothing that major" he added.

"you can always tell my anything" I say kissing his cheek and hugging him "well I guess Chase did not approve" I say making both of us laugh "that doesn't matter right" he said looking at me. "Of course not" I say "but it would be nice if he wasn't so rude about it" I say "yeah I know" he said kissing my forehead.
"I have good news, well chase is going to be out of town all next week for that football camp" Leo said
"I forgot about that" I say
"My parents are out of town for the whole week too" I say to him

"Yeah last month they asked me to stay for the week so you weren't alone that was before they knew we dated" he said
"They won't care" I say
"Well it will be a escape from the real world" I say kissing him.

I kind of hate this chapter ngl.
Sorry for no updates it's nearly end of term and all my teachers are giving us assignments and exams and I have been really busy with family.
