Waking up to my alarm that I had not turn off last night. There was no way I was going to school.
Against my Fathers wishes I drive to the hospital. Like I have down for the past three days while she has not woken up.
Once I get into the waiting room Her Mother and Chase walk out.
"Man, I think we should caught up. Meet up for pizza at like 3, cool"? My bestfriend asked me.
"See ya there" I try to smile as he does the same.
Walking into her room she looks the same as last night as if she haven't even moved a mussel.
I sit down and hold her hand softly talking to her.
After 10 minutes of talking, I kiss her forehead and speak "I can't wait to marry you"
I feel something move against my hand I look down and see her thumb squeeze my hand. Looking at her face I whisper "Baby" Her beautiful eyes slightly open just so I could see her looking at me, she smiles and goes to move but clearly it is hurting her.
"No, No. Don't move I'm so glad you are awake. SHH I will go get a doctor" I say smiling with tears in my eyes. "Don't leave me, Love" her soft croaky voice tells me.
"I will be back In one second" I say softly taking my hand from hers and I did not like the feeling of loneliness that washes over me.
As I step out of her room a nurse walks past "Hello, She is awake"
The nurse looks at me shocked and runs in pressing a button which only causes many more people to run in.
They start to speak to her and examine her, all while tears form in her eyes as she searches all the faces. My poor baby doesn't know who these people are or where she is. She doesn't even know what has happened.
"Leo, Where is Leo. Or my parents please" I barely hear her as I am behind the small crowd surrounding her.
"Sir are you Leo" A older lady speaks to me.
"Yes, I'm Leo"
"She seems panicked do you mind standing so she can see you"? She questions, like I would ever say No to that " Of course, Anything" I walk beside her and take her hand she visibly relaxes. I find it crazy that I am her save place, Nobody has ever needed or wanted me like that except her and I would not change it for the world.
"I'll call her family" I heard someone speak and rush out the door.
An army of nurses rush around her taking many tests and checking her pulse. Ella's face resembles pure fear squeezing her hand she looks into my eyes her eyes calm. I watch her face visibly relax. My baby was going to be alright.
"Shhhh love it's okay I'm here"
" you were lucky dear you had a stress and do seizure. You're poking out fast your body is healing. Your family is on their way. You need plenty of rest. I'll let you guys have a moment. Everything looks okay" a sweet older nurse speaks. Ella politely thanks her I do the same.
Turning to my baby, I take both her hands and take them to my chest. Bring them now to my lips. I kiss both her hands.
" I love you so much, you can never leaving me again. Me and you against the world, remember."
" I'm so sorry. I don't remember what happened. The last thing I remember was sitting on the couch then I've woken up here, I- i'm scared" she breaks down towards the end. I squeeze her hands and kiss her cheek softly.
" us together forever" she whispers to me.

10 minutes later, her parents and Chase walk in her parents flanking both sides Of her bed chase stays at foot of the bed, hoping to give them some family time. I squeeze Ella's hand and slowly pull away.
She hold onto me for a second longer looking me in the eye. Before making eye contact with chase.
Pulling away I had just to the fore when Dominic her father called for me.
"Son stop their you can stay as long as you like, we know you care for Els as much as we do" his words mean more then I can possibly express. We've never spoken about it before, but he knows my father and I's relationship is Rocky.
"Thank you sir that means the world, I love Ella More then Anything else sir". I speak strongly walking of to him and standing between him and chase close to Ella's bed.
Watching her closing I hear her tell her parents and brother what happened she has many unshed tears, I watch ready to reach over and gently brush any that fall. I'm laser focus on her making sure she is okay and her breathing is right. I am gently touching her leg calming her but also myself.
Chase grunts all attention goes to him
"Baby sis I was so worried I'm so sorry" he walks around me and hugs her mindfully of all the cords attached to her.
"Thanks chase that means a lot" she says hugging her brother back.

I find chase in the cafeteria of the hospital a couple hours later.
"You really have left have you" "this whole time" he questions me.
"I couldn't man she's my everything I know you hate to hear it but without her I'd be a mess, a shell of myself, how was I meant to leave the love of my life for even a second, especially knowing she's in hospital unconscious. If they would have let me sleep here I would have too" I speak only the truth.
"Look I won't lie I've handled a lot of things wrong, but hearing you say that means a lot I'm just worried all shits gonna hot the fan and everything will crumble around me. I can't let Ella get hurt but I also care about you to bro I know I take protecting her too far I do get it but my whole life I have watched out for her it was hard when she stopped needing her older brother to ward off bullies, the thought of her leaving me before and you doing the same I couldn't bare it and I said some shit I regret and I was a moron for saying don't worry I'll tell El this as well. I'm sorry man I know what I've done has probably drawn us all further apart but I just want you to know I want to go back to how it was before with you guys even if you are dating" he puffs out the most heartfelt thing I've ever heard Chase say.
I knew Ella was his soft spot and she was mind to I got it. He did take things way too far but he's still my best friend and her brother.
"Man I want nothing more then us to go back to normal and same as you and Els I honestly think it will bring us closer me and her being together. It hasn't drawn us apart sure it was shitty at the time but I know you love her and just want what's best and I agree I do too, as long as you tell her what you just said to me everything will be alright. Better not try to break us up again tho bro that was evil we are a team we love each other too much for that" I laugh out the last bit. Taking Chase into a man hug.
