"This is such bullshit,"  (Y/n) thought as she trudged out of her apartment, towards the elevator. There was this sickeningly sweet smell throughout the entire building since this morning. The poor girl has been entranced by it, occupying her every thought. Figuring she could get over it, she had ignored the scent. That was until her gut feeling. Something felt off. It frightened (Y/n), as she began to become attached to the scent. Realistically, the (h/c) haired girl understood that the scent was definitely one of her new neighbors' blood. She's just never met anyone that attracted her like that. Maybe it was some weird vampire thing. Its not like there's a manual out there about being a vampire or anything. That scent was currently above her on the fifth floor. She could tell. "Might make some worth out of this trip,"  the teen thought as she began to pack her dark green box. The elevator soon began to take her up. She pulled out a menthol from the box before safely setting it back into her pocket. She stood inside the metal cage, waiting for the doors to open.

Walking out of the elevator, the scent devoured (Y/n)'s senses. It was as if it sent her skin ablaze, a prickling feeling following the heat. She trekked down the hall to 504, locating where the smell was most potent. Quickly lighting her cigarette, (Y/n) walked into the room. She understood now why her body was going haywire. A blue haired teen was frozen in the corner of the room, the intoxicating scent oozing from him. The girl couldn't take her eyes of him, dazed. "Get out of here! They'll hurt you too!" the meek boy warned. At those words, the girl let out an inaudible growl. A blood so divine was meant for her, not some low rate ghosts. She took a drag from her cig,  quickly assessing the scene. A swarm of ghosts were beginning to back the human into a corner,  and her instincts were going wild. She felt protective over the kid she just met, even if it was just some habitude to ensure that he was her meal.

(Y/n) walked in front of the masked human, calmly taking a protective stance. With another few steps backward, she took a long hit from her cigarette. She was watching the ghosts making sure to interpret any and all of their movements. It was easy to tell that these aren't from Addison Apartments. They could interact with their surroundings. If they happen to actually be from here, someone had messed around to give them malicious intent. At times like these, (Y/n) is glad that her special ability as a vampire is energy manipulation. It sure made destroying ghosts a whole lot easier. The girl could feel the male's circulating blood behind her, and it gave all the drive she needed to kill them as quickly as possible.

Once the first apparition gets within two yards of the pair, (Y/n) jolts into action. Jumping, she goes in to kick the airborne ghost. The second she makes contact with it, her energy manipulation is employed, quickly dissipating it. She continues killing ghost after ghost, not allowing any to get within several feet of the blue haired teen. Cautiously making sure that she stays at a human speed, (Y/n) swiftly takes down the swarm of ghosts within minutes using different kicks and punches. After the last apparition is destroyed by her hand, she takes one last draw from her cigarette before stomping it on the ground. Looking over at the masked male, her mind begins to run. It wouldn't take much for her to have a little taste now, especially with him frozen with awe like that. The girl almost licked her lips at the thought. She couldn't. No matter how much she wanted to and how hard it was for her to restrain herself, she just couldn't. (Y/n) swore not to kill humans, even though their blood is what her body desired most.  "You should be careful on the fifth floor, its not fully renovated," (Y/n) stated, trying to keep her cool. Not letting him respond, she briskly left the room. Her mind was running wild. She couldn't stop thinking about him. Thoughts ravaging every little detail of the boy, and that scent coming from him.

Fuck, that scent. As if the finest chefs in the world could prepare a dish better than what that boy must taste like. The smell intoxicated her. He intoxicated her. (Y/n) had only seen the bluette for a few moments, and his scent was already ingrained in her memory. She had to get out. The repercussions of staying any longer could be deadly, and that wasn't an exaggeration. The agile girl began making plans on how discreetly she could kill everyone in the apartments just to get a taste. She'd kill the entire street if she had too. Anything to get her hands on a single droplet of her new neighbor's blood. She didn't even know the name of this kid, yet visions of her slaughtering him displayed in her head. She definitely had to get out now. (Y/n) ran away from the apartments in a daze. She had to get as far away as she could before she could change her mind.

A debate on whether or not to call anyone was being argued in the girl's head. On one hand, her close friend, Carlisle, would be a great help (even after the messy breakup she went through with his son) but on the other hand, this whole situation is embarrassing. Loosing control like... like some kind of newborn? The utter disappointment she might feel from one of her father figures is too heavy to bare. He might inform Edward too, and considering that the last time they encountered, she was being chased by him, (Y/n) definitely did not want him to know. She could figure this out on her own. She has been figuring out on her own anyways, why should this be any different? Her immediate thought was to self-reflect in the woods by Wendigo lake, but that was too close. Too unsafe for the boy. Anywhere on the same continent was too much of a quick travel on foot to her new neighbor, and (Y/n) really  didn't want to kill humans. She could stay with the Volturi in Italy, but they definitely would rope her up in their schemes.

It was hard to think, especially while her head was still dazed by that kid's scent. (Y/n) felt like it her sole purpose was to drink his blood. It was extremely convincing that she was put on Earth for this. It's her destiny. Anything she thought of went right back to him, and it was extremely annoying. Her usually clear mind was hyper focused on the way his blood circulated throughout his frail body. The way his adrenaline had his blood pumping faster than the girl could drink it.  "Snap out of it," (Y/n) thought as her head began to clear. Being thousands of miles away from Nockfell helped the girl focus on other things. Taking a look around, she realized she was in California. A small breath of relief left the poor girl's lips. Even if she was cross country from the little town in Pennsylvania, it wasn't far enough. It only took her what, six hours? It wasn't far enough, though at this point, she wasn't sure if Mars would even be far enough. (Y/n) can still feel it. The boys pulse, heightened by terror. The way his blood smelled of burnt sugar and caramel with a hint of something she couldn't identify. Her thoughts were disrupted as she spotted a sign indicating a nearby airport. The girl chuckled, at least something worked out in her favor that day.

She trotted into the airport, and began talking to a receptionist. "Hello. I need the first flight out," the (h/c) haired girl barely scrambled out. "First flight out to where dear?" the older lady questioned, half asleep at her post. "Doesn't matter, as long as its on another continent. I'm doing a spontaneous trip for once, and I'm too indecisive to make the choice on my own," (Y/n) calmly stated. She was sure that she'd raise suspicion if she had any more vocal mistakes. That is definitely the last thing she wants. "I see, how nice. Closest international flight is to France. It boards in an hour. Is that alright?" the receptionist asked, seemingly done with this conversation. "That's fine. Thank you," (Y/n) declared. She was fine with France as she owns some land in Paris. She could figure something out, and most importantly, that blue haired boy would be out of her reach.
