Ch 9

When I wake up again I feel worse and whine rolling over to curl up in a ball. Soon I hear the door open and close immediately being hit with Changbin's scent. Relaxing a little I lift my head up a little to see him standing there with a tray of food. Carefully maneuvering myself into a sitting position with a grimace I let him put the tray on my lap and nibble a little at the food. I then take the pain killers left on the tray. "How long has it been?" He gives me a sympathetic look. "A day. You still have six more days." I groan and set the tray aside before rolling around in bed. Sniffing at the blankets I immediately frown before I get up and start digging through the closet. I can feel Changbin's eyes on me as I gather an armful of clothes and blankets. I then carefully spread them all over the bed to make a giant comfy pile. Once I'm done I smile in accomplishment before climbing back into bed. I bury my face in the pile before I frown and look at Changbin pouting. "Get in the nest." He chuckles and carefully climbs onto the pile beside me gently cuddling me close. Nuzzling against his chest I murmur softly. "Are you still in rut?" He holds me in his arms a little tighter. "Yeah but I'm in control I promise." I nod against his chest. "I wish I could take something to stop my heat. It hurts." He gives a soft apology before looking down at me curiously. "Why did you hide your status and pretend to be a beta?" I shrug. "I wanted to be an idol. And I was willing to do whatever it took." He gives a nod of understanding before cuddling me in his arms. "Rest nova." I look up at him pouting adorably and hold out my pinky. "Promise you won't leave." He smiles softly and hooks our pinkies together. "I promise." Smiling I snuggle against him and slowly fall asleep.
