"so you're just gonna pull out!? just like that!?" jaehwa sighed, placing her elbow onto her desk.

logan had been pestering her for the past thirty minutes after hearing her final decision, his head almost exploding.

"jaehwa, you have to put him in jail, he's crazy!" jaehwa turns to logan, tired.

"i said i'm pulling out and i'm not suing him. like you said, HES CRAZY. why would i put him into a place where he could go more crazy?" logan stayed silent, so jaehwa continued to push on.

"why would i leave him in a cell where he could go more crazy, when i could help him get help, hm?" jaehwa turned back in her desk, laying her head on it.

"besides, this is too much work. if we just put him in therapy then we could watch him and make sure he's getting better." logan aggressively sighed, rubbing his temples.

"jaehwa. it makes no sense. why would you care about someone who stabbed you!?" jaewha shot up turning her head.

"why do you care so much!? i thought you were here to help the people in need and make things right. you're being super biased towards me." she sighs, calming down.

"open your eyes. he made a mistake because he wasn't in the right state of mind. if you follow your beliefs then you would help him, right?" jaehwa glanced up at the man that helped he so much, waiting for a response.

"get out. i don't need to see you right now. i'll call you when i'm done thinking about it." jaehwa's jaw dropped, but nonetheless she grabbed her phone, wallet, and keys, and walked out to her car.

she unlocked the door, just sitting there. she knew pulling out of the trial was stupid, of course she did.

but the look in his eye had to mean something. she grew up with him. the love he had sent her through all the 15 years they were together...

jaewha sighed, putting her car into ignition and driving off to Hera Palace.

-

"let's divorce." yoonchul stood at the door of their shared apartment, looking down at his shoes.

"what?" oh yoonhee sat on the couch, exasperated. "we can't divorce."

yoonchul bit his lip, sighing. "i can't do this anymore. Rona is dead. I need to take care of my children." yoonhee scoffs, standing up.

"one of your kids killed mine!! get that through your head! if you really want to take care of them, deal with what they did." yoonchul ran his hands through his hair.

he really didn't want to have to deal with this, he just wanted to leave calmly, being able to go back and at least try being a good dad once more.

"everything in that envelope is signed, you just need to sign it and give it to the court... you don't need me anymore." yoonchul glanced at yoonhee one more time, before walking out of her apartment.

yoonhee started at the closing door, laughing. "he thinks he can just leave?... idiot." yoonhee looks at the envelope, opening it.

"i'll do what you want, but your children aren't safe anymore ha yoonchul." yoonhee pulls out a pen, signing the papers in the envelope.

the papers had this sands of words, each explaining what might happen when they divorce.

she goes over each and every paper, reading each paper into detail. she smiles, seeing that yoonchul had forgotten. "i still have custody over jaehwa..."

-

jaehwa stepped into hera palace, handing one of the workers there her keys. she smiled at him, and walked away.

she made her way deeper into the building, overall just wanting to get to her boyfriend. "jaehwa?" the girl turned around, spotting her father.

"oh." she quickly turned back around, wanting to avoid him at all costs, "jaehwa!" she quickened her pace, rushing towards the elevators.

she tried scanning her card, but the old man caught up to her, spinning her around. "what're you doing here?" she blinked, trying to come up with the best explanation.

"lim jaehwa..." she hit her lip, and straight up told him.

"oh, ok i thought you were to like murder someone." jaewha made a face, leaning away from her dad.

"what the heck? no. i'm here to see him, not having the best day ya know." yoonchul furrowed his eyebrows, but ended up under- standing.

he let the girl go, and opened the elevator for her, "go to floor 93, i'm pretty sure the twins have their own room up there." jaehwa nodded, and waved bye as the door closed.

it was silent in the elevator, jaewha going over her thoughts as the numbers rose.

everything logan had said esrlier sorta hit her hard... she just wanted the best for everyone like he did, but why couldn't he see that?

was there a secret he was hiding from jaewha?...

the bell rung at floor 45, jaewha's eyebrows furrowing. the doors opened, and jaewha tried shutting the door, but it was left hanging open, a foot blocking it, "lim jaehwa, right on time."
