-still in deans p.o.v.-

I drove to Ana's apartment. I saw something terrifying, horrible, and painful. Her apartment room was on fire. Fire was on the street and other houses as I heard screams.

"ANA!" I said trying to run into the building but the firefights had to hold me back.

I dropped to the ground breaking apart.

"No." I said in between sobs.

The firefighter weakened his grip so I got of him and ran inside, but the police had to come inside and get me. The fire was too big. Nobody can survive that. I can't believe this is happening. Minutes afterwards firefighters brought somebody out. It was Ana.

"Ana.." I said running to her.

She had burns across her legs and arms. Luckily not her face. They didn't let me go with her so I drove to the hospital following them.

-back to the present-

I got to the hospital and entered. I asked the nearest nurse if Ana was okay.

"Sorry I haven't been informed of her." the nurse said.

"Ugh!" I screamed.

I punched the wall.

After about hours of waiting, finally a doctor came out.

"How's Ana." I asked nervously.

He nodded with a smile. I can tell that was a good sign.

"Fortunately, she has nothing major. She has burns which can be healed with not much time." he said happily.

"She is very fortunate." he said.

"Thank you. So much." I said thanking him and God.

"Can I see her?"

"Yes you may." he said as he led me to her room.

I entered and saw her smile as she saw me.

"Ana."

"Dean." she said as she hugged me.

"You have no idea how worried I was." I said crying of happiness.

She cried with me. She let go of the hug.

"Don't worry Ana, you can stay at my apartment for as long as you need to." I said smiling.

"How's Gunter, my dog." she said happily.

I stayed silent.

Her smile disappeared.

"Dean. Where's Gunter?" She said getting frustrated.

"Ana I'm so sorry.." I said looking at the ground.

Her mouth dropped. She covered her mouth with her hands as tears streamed down her eyes.

"No.. Gunter noo." she said sobbing.

"I'm so sorry." I said hugging her.

She cried on my shoulder. I can't imagine how hard it is to lose a pet. Especially a pet from your dad whose passed away. She cried and cried until she had no more tears. I let go of the hug and looked at me. Her eyes were red. Really red.

"I'm fine now." she said looking at a wall.

"Just know I'm going to make whoever caused the fire pay." she said managing to let one more tear come out.

"That person will pay." I said.
