Chapter 24: Say You Will

We drove to a fancy restaurant, there were light, lanterns, fountains, flowers, basically, a rich persons dream house. We saw Roman and Galina across the restaurant.

"Hey guys wait up!" I said as I walked towards them.

"Hey Ana." Galina said as she hugged me.

"Yo my brotha." Roman said as he "bro-hugged" Dean.

"Hello. I am your waiter for tonight. Please take a seat." The waiter said as we sat down outside. Dean was sitting across me as he sat next to Roman, and I next to Galina. I looked at he face. The light perfectly hit him. He caught me looking at him. I slightly blushed and he smiled. He had a look on his face that made me think something was going to happen, like a surprise, but I ignored it.

"Here are you drinks." The waiter said.

"Thanks." we all said at the same time.

We laughed.

Time passed. We all ate, talked about random things, for example, our conversations went from llamas to turtle wrestling.

"Well I guess it's time to go." Roman said.

"Yeah." I said.

I looked at Dean as he had a nervous face.

Deans p.o.v.

I was so nervous of what I was going to ask her. What if she says no. What if she rejects me. My hands are basically an ocean. I put my hand in my pocket and felt the box in my pocket. Show time.

We walked for a while outside next to the lake. There were lights, vivid colored flowers, fireflies, so perfect for tonight. I purposely hit my foot next to the tree.

"Ow." I said falling to the ground on purpose.

I pretended to be in extreme pain as Ana came down to help me.

"Dean what's wrong!" He asked me.

"Are you okay?!" He said trying to help me but I stayed down.

I put my hand in my pocket and got the box out making sure she couldn't see me. She didn't know I wasn't actually hurt so she was nervous and scared I really got injured. I pulled the box out in front of her so that it would make sense.

"Dean.. what are you doing?" She said as she stood up.

I stayed on one knee and opened the box. I saw her eyes watering, not sure of sadness or joy, hopefully joy.

"Will you make me the happiest man on earth, and marry me-

"OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!!" She said as she jumped on me.

She hugged me tightly, I did the same. She was crying of joy. I let go of the hug. I got the ring and put it on her finger. It sparkled brightly in the moonlight. I gave Roman the signal to fire up the fireworks. Fireworks flew, blasted, and exploded lights in the sky. I looked at Ana. She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. I kissed her back. She let go and hugged me.

"I love you so much." she said.

"And I love you more." I said back.
