"joonie, listen to me please!" jin cried, trying to calm down his boyfriend.
"no, jin! I stood outside for two hours in the rain, cold and shivering, but you never came to pick me up!"
"but joonie-"
"i tried calling you so many times, but you never picked up even once! i had to call hobi hyung to take me home!"
tears ran down namjoon's face as he tried wiping his runny nose. he hated fighting with jin but this hurt him so much and he was feeling very overwhelmed with emotions at the moment.
"i'm so sorry joonie-"
"just give me some space jin. i dont want to say anything i'll regret later."
namjoon ran out of the room and went to the place where he usually went to seek comfort and to calm down - the roof. He loved looking up at the stars as they gave him a sense of peace.
he sat down on the comfy seats that were there, looking up at the clear night sky that was filled with hundreds of sparkling stars. the full moon shone in all its full brilliance flooding the roof with a soft, silvery glow.

namjoon took a few deep breaths and tried to calm himself down by identifying constellations. He had learned most of them from his older brother, hoseok, who was an astronomy major in college.
after a few minutes, he began to feel cold as there was a chilly breeze in the air. he began to miss jin's warmth and comforting cuddles. jin was, after all, the moon to his starry sky. namjoon was not complete without his jin. he didnt even notice that a tear slid down his cheek as he hugged his knees to keep warm.
meanwhile, jin had calmed down too and decided to check up on his joonie. he gathered a couple of pillows and fluffy blankets and softly made his way to the rooftop.
he reached the rooftop and saw his boyfriend with his arms wrapped around himself, looking up at the night sky with a melancholy look on his face. jin honestly didnt know which one looked more ethereal, the starry sky or his stunning boyfriend.
his heart slightly boke when he was a tear run down namjoon's cheek. jin felt terrible, knowing that he had made the love of his life cry and softly made his way over to where namjoon sat.
namjoon was pulled out of his thoughts but the sound of footsteps coming towards him and a pair of arms wrapping around his waist. he got startled and began panicking but soon relaxed when the familiar smell of caramel and vanilla wafted through the air. the comforting smell of jin's perfume triggers his wave of emotions to break through and he starts sobbing earnestly.
jin instantly started to worry and tried to calm his distressed boyfriend down by burying his face in namjoon's neck and softly kissing him. he whispered words of comfort in namjoon's ear and felt him slightly relax in jin's arms.
"what's wrong, my love?"
"i'm so sorry i yelled at you, jinnie. i was having a rough day at college and i let out all my bottled up emotions on you."
jin felt his heart ache at seeing his boyfriend completely break down in his arms, and held on namjoon even tighter.
"its okay, joonie. i'm not mad at you. I could feel that you were stressed out. I didnt mean to make you even more upset. the reason i couldn't pick you up from college was that out car had gotten a flat tyre and i had to take it to be fixed. my phone had run out of battery so i couldn't pick up your calls. I'm so sorry that i made you feel like i didn't care about you. "
jin could feel namjoon nod slightly and let out a little sigh. he pulled his love closer to him and tangled their legs together, making sure namjoon felt warm and comfortable. He heard namjoon's sniffles reduce and felt his hands hold on to jin's shirt.
after namjoon calmed down, the couple spent the rest of the night cuddling and kissing while admiring the beauty of each other and the stars.
