"How did you react when you heard what happened to Matt?" Morell asked.

My mom had insisted on taking me to therapy after everything that happened.

"I don't feel sorry for him, he killed people and made me go through the worst night of my life." I replied looking at my nails.

"Can you feel sorry for the nine-year-old Matt who drowned?" She asked and I looked up.

"That didn't give him the right to do what he did. You know, they said that drowning caused him to go mad but the pictures he had of Allison on his camera prove otherwise. There are people who cannot escape madness." I raised my eyebrows and bit my nails.

"Did something positive come out of this?" Morell asked.

"Stiles's father got his job back, that's good. He's a good Sheriff." I replied.

"Have you spoken with Stiles or Scott? As far as I know you three are inseparable."

"No I haven't. There is a strange tension between us since that night. It's just like we decided to take some time to think about everything." I explained.

"And Allison?" She asked.

"She doesn't wanna talk. I've tried reaching her. I didn't know about her mom."

I walked over to Allison's door. I had walked all the way here to talk to her.

I knocked on the door but no one answered.

"Allison, it's me, Lia!" I yelled.

I knocked on the door again.

"Allison please. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you." I knocked on the door once more.

I hugged myself. It was late and it was freezing outside.

I looked down and sat on Allison's porch. I looked at my bracelet.

Thunder sounded. It was going to rain and I had to walk back. I got up and started walking. I turned around saw shadow in the window. I sighed and kept walking.

End of flashback.

"Do you feel guilty for not having been there for her?" Morell asked and I nodded.

"I should've been there." I replied.

"Don't you feel that it's a lot of pressure for you? Always looking out for everyone."

"My friends are the most important thing to me. I feel like I should always be there." I replied and she smiled.

"It's a beautiful quality that you have. But it can be harmful, right? What about you Lia?" She asked.

"Me?" I asked.

The question caught me off guard.

"I heard you'll play in the championship of tomorrow."

"Yes and I think that I'll play now. Coach had sanctioned me for leaving the game last time but I think it's all right now." I explained.

It was the night the Kanima attacked Stiles, Derek, and me in the pool.

"We need all players available since one of my teammates is dead and the other is missing."

"Isaac? You don't know anything about him, right?" She asked and I shook my head.

Someone knocked on my door. I thought it was my mother since Lydia was not home.

"Come in." I spoke.
