NEXT DAY, AT THE AFTERNOON

—Kira's POV—

It's the next day and my engagement party day, I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

I haven't talked to Damon in the last 2 days, since the day at the mall, and i am really anxious, what if he doesn't show up? What if he changed his mind and doesn't want me anymore?

UGHHHH!!!!

I took a deep breath, pushed away all of the negative thoughts, and concentrated on doing my makeup. Well, i was doing my makeup because i didn't want my makeup artist to make it for me, i want a look that matches my dress and my taste.

When my mom came to the house and showed me the dresses, i immediately chose the beige dress, it was the most beautiful one and i was really confident about it, i knew that I'd look amazing in it.

I finished doing my makeup and it was already 7:30 p.m, i was really afraid and worried about Damon not showing up so i asked mom to go down to the restaurant and see if he's here or not, luckily he was here and i was beyond happy. I know that saying that i was afraid about him not showing up is like saying that i don't trust him or doubting him but I don't, it's just because of what happened 2 nights ago, about him calling Sin and telling him to lie to Alfonzo and him not texting me, calling me, or seeing me for 2 days, so i was scared of what if something bad happened to him or he did something reckless.

"Ughhhh! Why the hell am i so nervous?!?!" I said out of frustration.

"I never knew that my lil sissy was gonna be this nervous at the day of her engagement party" Sin said teasingly while entering the room.

We were sitting in one of the hotel rooms of the Messina's hotel which is a very famous and known hotel owned by Alfonzo, Damon's dad.

"Oh don't start, I'm not Damon, so you can't tease me" I said in a serious tone while look straight in his eyes.

I was in the hall talking with Mom, dad, Yelena, and Andrei, when suddenly i felt someone hugging my feet, i looked down and it was Talia.

"Uncle Damon! I missed you!" She said cutely while hugging me tighter.

"I missed you too, baby" I said as i lifted her up into my embrace.

"Can i talk to you alone?" Talia whispered in my ear while hugging my neck.

"Alright" I whispered back.

"Excuse us, Talia wants to talk to me for a bit" I said to my parents and Andrei and Yelena, and then i left with Talia.

I took her with me and went to the first staff room that was empty.

"Yes, baby?" I asked her softly while bending down to her height.

"Are you gonna gonna marry mommy?" She asked as i nodded my head.

"Not now, but we're gonna get married in a few months" I replied.

"So you're gonna be my daddy?" She asked which surprised me because i never thought that she'll think like that.

"You want me to be your daddy?" I asked her as she nodded her head.

"Yeah, you're really loving, caring, handsome, and i love you so much , plus you're gonna be my mommy's husband so you're gonna be my dad in the future" She said cutely as I hugged her tightly.

"I've always wanted to have a daughter, I'll be really happy to be your daddy but only if you mommy agrees, hmm?" I said as she nodded her head.

"But what if mommy said no?" She said, hugging me back.
