Part 10

After a couple of hours Brooke left the house and Sebastian helped get Levi in bed since the kids leg was killing him. Sebastian was in the bathroom getting ready for bed while I was sitting on the bed reading some work emails on my phone. I had a lot of emails from people wanting to talk about my relationship with Sebastian. He walked out of the bathroom in his boxers and a white t-shirt. I smiled at his appearance but just to hide it since he was looking at me waiting for my reaction.

"Excuse me Miss Tate are you ogling me?" Sebastian asked and I smiled even more.

"Maybe...what can I say? I like the view." I said and Sebastian huffed a laugh. He got into bed and kissed me.

"What are you doing?" Sebastian asked and I sighed putting my phone on the bedside table.

"Work emails. Mostly people wanting to know more about us though." I said and huffed a laugh. Sebastian and I got comfortable in bed and he pulled me close to him and we cuddled. I instantly felt my muscles relax the minute he wrapped his arm around me.

"Well, we are the new thing. Give it a couple days and some celebrity will do something outrageous and we will be old news." Sebastian said and I huffed a laugh knowing he was right.

"So, I did tell Dominic tonight that if things didn't calm down soon with the press outside, I was going to send Levi to him for an undetermined amount of time but he said that if you are here with us, we are all safe." I said and Sebastian looked down at me shocked.

"Wow, didn't see that coming." Sebastian said and I nodded in agreement. As I looked up at him from where my head was on his chest he leaned down and kissed me.

"I swear to you on everything I have Avery, I will not let anything happen to either of you." Sebastian said once we broke apart and I smiled at him and then yawned.

"Get some sleep." Sebastian said and gave me another small kiss. I got comfortable again and quickly drifted off to sleep. In the middle of the night, I woke up like a shot covered in a cold sweat. I was breathing heavy and couldn't catch my breath. Sebastian sat up right after me and was concerned.

"Avery?" He asked and placed a hand on my back.

"I'm okay, I swear." I said pulling my knees up to my chest and placing my head on my knees, Sebastian just rubbed his hand up and down my back.

"Talk to me Avery, what was the dream?" Sebastian asked and I shook my head but got out bed and rushed to Levi's room. This was a common occurrence after the dream I had. Sebastian followed me concerned. I opened his bedroom door and saw him fast asleep and I smiled and closed the door.

"Let's go get some water." Sebastian said and extended his hand for me to take and I accepted. We walked to the kitchen and I sat on the one stool while Sebastian got us both a bottle of water from the fridge. He sat next to me and just looked at me.

"Want to explain what the dream was about and why you instantly checked on Levi?" Sebastian asked and I sighed.

"Well, whenever I get stressed or things get crazy in my life, I just have the dream of when I had Levi too early. It wasn't just that he was early, it was a very difficult birth. As I was in the delivery ward ready to have him, I wouldn't dilate at all and Levi went into distress and his rate heart dropped as did mine and I had to have an emergency c-section with him but the doctors weren't even sure he was going to live. I was awake while they went into get him and all they kept whispering about to each other was how to tell me my son didn't make it." I said and Sebastian just sat in shock and still kept rubbing my back.

"I also had no support system at the hospital, I ended up driving myself while having contractions and my mom nor Dominic would answer the phone when I kept calling them. I knew then I would be doing this all alone. Brooke showed up after he was born but she was the only support I had." I said and Sebastian groaned.
