It had been a couple of days since all the issues went down and the office was officially up and running as well as getting the magazine to print and get the digital copy ready for online. I was sitting in my office way after hours when there was a knock on my open door, I looked up and saw Sebastian standing there holding a bucket of popcorn chicken.
"You missed dinner...again." Sebastian said when he walked in the office, he tried to not sound disappointed but he knew the tone was there. I rubbed my eyes and groaned.
"What time is it?" I asked looking at the clock on my computer and noticed it was almost 10pm.
"Oh my god..." I groaned and held my head in my hands. Sebastian came around my desk and got behind my chair and started rubbing my shoulders.
"Okay babe you are entirely too tense, you need to come home." Sebastian said and I sighed.
"I can't, this digital copy is giving us fits and I have to figure it out." I said.
"Don't you have an IT department that should be worried about this?" Sebastian asked and I nodded.
"We do but I just thought I could so it so we could get this live tomorrow afternoon when the magazine hits the shelves." I said. Sebastian kept rubbing my shoulders and didn't stop but I didn't want him to either, he was helping relieve so much built-up tension.
"You know I have a tub at my house that has high powered jets that work great on aching and tense muscles..." Sebastian said and I huffed a laugh.
"I will be sure to enjoy that tomorrow night, not tonight." I said and Sebastian sighed.
"You need to eat dinner and go home. You have got no sleep in the past 3 days, you are running on fumes and caffeine." Sebastian said and I couldn't even argue because he wasn't wrong. I looked at the digital version of the magazine and sighed. I sent an email to the IT department telling them what I did and when it needed to be live. I looked at the chicken Sebastian brought and smiled.
"Can I eat this on the way home?" I asked and Sebastian huffed a laugh with a nod and grabbed my purse and laptop bag. I grabbed the chicken and we headed out of the office.
"What about my car?" I asked as we walked outside.
"I will bring you to work tomorrow, I don't want you driving tonight." Sebastian said and I nodded. Once I locked up we got to the car and I ate the whole way to the car. The ride home was silent and Sebastian soon found out why, I had fallen asleep on the car ride. He smiled as we got home, he got the chicken bucket from my lap and then he went around to my side of the car and bridal carried me into the house. Neal was still awake on the couch and saw Sebastian carrying me in.
"She fell asleep in the car on the way home. I knew she was exhausted." Sebastian whispered as Neal got up and shut the door.
"I'm going to put her to bed." Sebastian said and Neal nodded.
"Are you staying tonight?" Neal asked and Sebastian nodded.
"I can't I have guys coming over tomorrow morning to talk about..." Sebastian trailed off and Neal nodded with a smile. Sebastian headed to the bedroom and laid me on the bed.
"Baby, I need to undress you to get you into bed." Sebastian whispered in my ear and I slightly nodded but I was too tired to wake up. He kissed my cheek and then started to undress me. When he got down to my underwear he saw I was in a black lacy bodysuit and he groaned.
"Of all days you wear this is the day you don't come home." Sebastian said and huffed a laugh. I snuggled into the pillow on my bed that smelled like Sebastian and he covered me up.
