"No, No, No, No." Sarah and I call out, swatting tennis rackets at the birds.

"Sarah, Gi!" Ward calls out.

Ward Cameron, Kook king and Sarah's father. He's some what like a father figure to me also, considering me and Toppers dad passed when we were just kids.

"We are busy!" I call back, not giving up.

I will not allow the birds to hurt the turtles, especially when the turtle species is already going extinct. Me and Sarah take all proper precautions to save the turtles that we can. We use no plastic, and make sure to recycle, we also take trips down to the beach with a few other friends to help clean up trash every once in awhile.

"What are you guys doing?" Ward questions.

"The burrows filled with water from the surge." Sarah says.

"The birds are having a field day." I add, continuing to chasing after the birds.

"The birds have to eat too, girls." Ward says, crossing his arms and sighing.

"No, It's a mouse genocide out here." Sarah says.

"No!" I yell, smacking a bird hard with my racket, the bird get's flung about 5 feet and then begins it's attempt to steal a turtle again.

"The cycle of life is what it is, sweetheart. Now, come on." Ward says.

"We can't be apart of it." I say, walking over to Ward.

"First they came for the mice, daddy." Sarah says, following behind me.

"I have a human being..." Ward begins saying.

"Oh, my God." I say, walking up to the lady with an apologetic look on my face.

A shorter woman, with black hair in a pony tail, stood in front of me. She seemed stressed, something was off with her.

"You might help." Ward finishes.

"Hi." I say, shaking the woman's hand.

"I'm Sarah, this is Gianna. We are so sorry." Sarah says, apologizing

"This is Lana, Scooters wife." Ward says.

"You two were storm prepping with him, right?" Ward questions.

"Yeah. He helped us latch the cabin on the Druthers." Sarah says, and I nod in agreement.

"Last night?" Ward questions.

"Yeah." Both of us say.

"And did he go out after that?" Ward asks.

"From here?" Sarah questions, with a concerned look on her face.

"Yeah." Ward answers.

"No. Are you crazy? There was a hurricane." Sarah says.

"Well, did he say where he was going? Get a phone call or mention anything?" The woman asks, pressing each question.

"He didn't say anything to us." I say, shrugging, looking at Sarah.

"We are so sorry. Is he okay?" Sarah questions, with an apologetic tone.

"He's absolutely okay." Ward says, placing a hand on his daughters shoulder to reassure her.

"I hope so." Lana says, as ward removes his hand from Sarah's shoulder and places it on Lana's to guide her away.

"He's hunkered down somewhere." Ward states, leading Lana away.

"We'll find him." Ward says.

"I'm so sorry." I call out.
