She stood next to her aunt, looking over the files spread out all over the table, and she had to admit- she was shocked. Over 50 missions that they knew about, each and everyone one of them successful, and god knows how many that Shield hadn't found out about.

'She's brutal...' She heard her aunt mutter. 'Brutal and ruthless...'

Sharon nodded in agreement, but a part of her couldn't help but secretly be in awe. These many missions, all successful - and it took years for them to catch her. She couldn't help but be...impressed.

'I noticed something..-' Sharon said, turning to face her aunt. Peggy gave a quick nod, still flipping through files, and she continued. 'She didn't seem normal.'

'Well that was obvious- she's a killer, she is definitely not normal.'

'No not that way- it was like she- she had no emotion. Nothing, just...orders.'

'That's what happens when your an assassin, you eventually lose all guilt.'

'Again, not what I'm talking about- her eyes stayed the same the whole time, cold and emotionless, it didn't seem to change- not even when she got tazed. You can't tell me that's normal'

'Now that you say it...I can see what your coming from' Peggy mused. 'There wasn't even a hint of fear when she was put in the cell'

A random idea struck her, but it seemed impossible.

Is it though... they were so advanced in the 40s, there's no idea as to how they are now...

'Aunt Peg...'

'Yeah?'

'What if they did something to her brai-'

Her words were cut off by the loud, shattering of glass.

She eyed the pair at the table in the corner of the room.

Backs turned to me, convenient.

She scanned the room, picking up on the slightest of things that could help her: the metal pole that must've fallen off something, the gun on the shelf, the weapons holstered to the women themselves.

But most of all, she noticed something that they did not.

The cracks in the glass, next to the lock.

Good thing this cell is big.

Natalia took a few steps back, made sure that the agent's back was still turn to her, and she kicked the glass. The hard heel of her boot struck the cracks perfectly, and it didn't make much of a sound, the cracks expanding across the glass.

Once more.

She kicked the glass again, once, then twice, and the glass shattered loudly. She saw the blonde look at her, mid sentence, eyes wide, and she kept kicking at the glass until the entire wall shattered, and she stepped out.

'Pathetic.' That was all she said before sliding and kicking at the Director's legs snatching the gun atop the shelf, and shooting at her, just as she got kicked in the side of the face, and she missed. She stumbled for a split second, growling and regaining her composure, before going back to aiming and fighting.

The three of them fought, and she seemed to be overpowering them. That was until she felt something hard hit her in the head, and her knees buckled, and she blacked out.

Natalia's eyes flew open, and she looked around slightly confused.

"What- What the fuck-?"
