This is the most interesting explanation as it requires a bit of understanding. When we talk about Near Future, it belongs to the period of 1 sec to some hundreds of years ahead of the present. This will be also explained by contradiction.
Suppose, you are 20 years old in 2020. You decide to go to the future into 2050. You even succeed in doing so. But what will happen next is, as soon as you step into the future, it will become your present moment for that time, and the time before 2050 will become your past at that time. This means your all events got conserved between 2020 and 2050 as you jumped off to 2050 directly. Do you know what got conserved? Your nonexistence between 2020 and 2050 got conserved. Now as you know that traveling into the past is not possible, hence you can't return to 2020 (original present).
As a consequence, you have to live in the future due to which your non-existence between 2020 and 2050 continues to remain maintained. As a result, it leads to discontinuity of the timeline which is not possible. Hence, it contradicts our supposition and also violates the law of conservation of existence. We can conclude then, time travel is not possible in near future too.
