I watched him sleeping for a minute then sat up. I looked out the windows of the car to see what was around. I really needed something for my headache plus I had to pee. I looked down at Noel and gently nudged him with my foot. He stirred, but didn't wake up. I tried again and said, "Noel, wake up."
He stirred again then opened his eyes. I watched him as he laid there trying to fully wake up. He rubbed his eyes then squinted up at me.
"Good morning. How do you feel?" I asked.
He sat up and rubbed his eyes again.
"Not very good." He said.
"Do you know if there is a pharmacy near by? I have a massive headache." I said.
He got off the floor and sat next to me on the bench seat. He turned his head toward me.
"Yeah, there's one down the street that way." He said and pointed out the window.
"Close enough to walk?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
We looked at each other and I smiled.
"What?" He asked.
"You're really cute when you wake up."
"Am I?" He asked then smiled.
I nodded then we stared into each other's eyes for a second before he spoke again.
"Come stay with me for a bit." He said softly.
I looked into his eyes.
"Can I think about it?" I asked.
"Of course.' He said.
"Ok, well let's go find that pharmacy. I feel like my head is about to explode." I said.
"Alright." He said and we got out of the car and started walking. We made our way to the pharmacy and went inside. We both went to use the bathroom then we got some Tylenol and some Gatorade. Noel paid for it then we returned to the Benz. We both took some Tylenol and drank some Gatorade then decided to go get some breakfast.
We found a small diner and went inside. We sat at a table and looked over the menu.
"I'm fucking starving." I said as I tried to decide what to order.
"Me too." He said as he looked at his menu.
An older woman walked over to our table a few minutes later.
"Hello, my name is Rose. Can I get you some coffee?"
"Yes." I said immediately and Noel chuckled.
Rose looked at Noel.
"What about you hon?" She said.
"Yes please." He smiled.
"Ok, two coffees coming right up." She said and walked away.
I looked at Noel and he was looking at me with a smile.
"What?" I asked.
