Have you ever gotten your heart broken by someone who wasn't even yours? It fucking sucks. Looking back, I should have known how things would end up. He knew how to treat me good and fuck me good, but in the back of my mind, I always knew it wasn't going to last. Damn, did we have fun though. Best few months of my life.
I saw him again the next day. I was sitting at a table outside a restaurant in Malibu with my friend, Tara. We were talking as we ate and having a good time. We finished eating, but continued talking at our table. As we were talking, I looked over and saw him sitting at another table with a few other men. I sat watching him. He seemed to be having a great time.
"Sarah?" I moved my eyes back to Tara.
"I'm sorry." I chuckled.
"What are you looking at?" She turned and looked behind her then looked back at me.
"See that guy sitting at that table? The one with the brown shirt?"
"Yeah." Tara said as she turned her head again.
"I met him at that party I told you about."
"Which one?" She asked.
I chuckled to myself. I guess I had been going to alot of parties lately.
"The one where I passed out on the tennis court."
"Oh, the one where you met that guy who you cheated on Dean with?" She asked.
"Yes that one, and that's the guy."
Tara's eyes grew wide.
"No it's not!" She said.
"It is." I smiled.
"Well then we have to go say hello don't we?" She grinned.
"Should we?" I asked.
"Yes." She answered.
"Ok, come on." I stood up and Tara followed me as I walked over to where Noel was seated.
He was laughing as I walked up to the table.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
Everyone at the table looked at me. Including Noel.
"Ello Sarah with an H." He smiled.
"Hi." I smiled back.
Noel introduced me to the three other men at the table and I introduced them all to Tara.
"Have a seat, join us." Noel said and gestured at the table.
I looked at Tara and she made a face and gave me a wink.
"Ok." I said and me and Tara sat down. I was sitting to Noel's left and Tara sat across from me. As we talked, I noticed Noel was being very flirty and I loved it. I flirted right back and we kept making each other laugh. The alcohol he was drinking may have had something to do with it. Everytime I looked at his friends though, they seemed to not want me there so I looked at Tara.
"Ready to go babe?"
"Yeah." She said.
I looked over at Noel and he looked so hot. I really wished I could hangout with him more. I took my phone out of my pocket and held it up.
"Can I take a picture?" I asked him and he gave me a nod then held up his hand in a pose. I smiled and took the picture then stood up. I looked at his friends.
"Nice meeting you all." I smiled.
They all nodded just to be polite, but I knew they didn't like me. I looked at Noel.
