A smile formed on Annika's smile as she felt his lips on her forehead. She opened her eyes to see Shivaay looking at her with a wide smile.

"Good morning", he said softly caressing her cheeks. She looked at him surprised.

"Shivaay? You're about to come by tonight right?", she asked as he helped her to sit up properly.

"The work got completed soon and your due date is just around the corner. What if they come early or I miss their birth", he said making her chuckle.

Annika was eight complete months pregnant and ready to deliver the babies any time. These two months have been extremely tough and tiring for her. Her feet ache and back aches have just increased more making doctor ask them to rest as much as she can. Shivaay have shifted them to the guest room for the two months as it was getting tough for her to walk up on the stairs. He would bring all her daily requirements in the guest room itself.

He was in London since a week because of the sudden technical issues in the main office over there. He was sceptical over leaving her when she is at such crucial moment and almost refused asking the employees over there to handle themself till the other month but eventually Annika made him go giving the issues that she would need her more after the arrival of babies. Anyways family was there to take care of their darling daughter-in-law.

"Let's see how babies are doing?", he said leaned to her huge bump pecking it and caressed with all his love.

"Good morning my little loves. Papa is back and he missed you guys too much. Come soon babies, can't wait to see you", he said softly.

"You only missed your babies?", he looked up to see Annika pouting with a frown.

"I missed my big baby the most", he came back to her face and kissed her lips, ever so softly. She smiled looping arms around his neck.

"Now tell me, did you had your milk at time?", he asked. She nodded.

"Fruits?", she again nodded.

"All your medicine at times?"

"Yes, I had all my medicines"

"Good. How much junk you stuffed inside you?", he asked making her smile sheepishly.

"I had nachos with cheese and chips", she said looking down.

"Fine. Sometimes it's okay. I hope you didn't had it so much", he said and looked at her face. She shook her head.

"Just a little bit", she said pressing her thumb and index finger together. He chuckled and nodded.

"You're fine right?", he asked seriously. From past few weeks, he is preparing himself for her delivery. He was scared, excited, nervous, anxious and what not.

"I am completely fine. Don't worry", she said caressing his stubble. He nodded sighing and kissed her palm on his cheek.

"Come I help you to take bath and then I am preparing tasty breakfast for my loves", he said and pecked her lips. She nodded and got up holding her bump. He took out her clothes and prepared bathtub for her. Making sure she's comfortable, he went to make breakfast for her.

"Hey Shivaay", Om walked inside kitchen. Shivaay smiled at his brother.

"Good morning Om, what's up", Shivaay wished pouring milk in the glass mixing sugar in it.

"Yeah. It's good I mean everything is fine just last night me and Gauri had a fight and she is not talking to me. She was just overreacting according to me and I shouted on her", he said.
