A great storm had hit sodor for the past few weeks. At first it was a light breeze, then a bit of rain but, now it was horrible some of the tracks on the branchlines were being pulled off the sleepers which they originally laied on.
The little Western was closed because they got the most. The engines who were at any sheds were to go to the center parts of the island but they couldn't go the tracks were too dangerous, so the engines had to be taken by truck and the people would have to be evacuated.

The last engine to leave was duck but the roads had flooded after one of the trucks went over the road with aurther. So there was no way for duck to leave but the tracks were flooding an it was up to his side rods.

Duck decided he was going to risk it and take the tracks, his driver and fireman were OK with it and there was one coach left and the people who couldn't get on a bus in time got in duck set off. As he went along the line he saw alot of damage some of the rocks were weak small rocks even fell but they didn't hit him.

As duck went under the stone arch he heard a crumbling noise and as we went under it, it collapsed duck was terrified he couldn't believe this was happening.

Then he saw something that made his scream there in the distance the was a huge wave that was going to hit the tracks and was them away.

"HURRY DUCK USE EVREY THING YOU'VE GOT!" his driver said franticly

"I AM!" he said in responce.

Duck hurried and gave out large amounts of steam he wound'nt give up now the lives of the people depended on him.

He crossed the tracks just in time and as he rounded a bend he heard a smashing noise when he rounded the bend he saw that bulstrode had drifted off and collided into another ship And was sinking.

30 minutes later

After duck has pressed through the storm he finally arrived at tidmouth and stopped in the yards and resting in the sheds were Oliver, donald and douglas who were being checked over after being unloaded they were shocked

"holy moly duck did you come all this way by RAIL?!" said Oliver

"well yes I guess I did.."

"Aye duck be a strong lad hell do anything for his passangers" said donald happily

Duck told the others about what had happened and they were surprised

"I can't believe bulstrode is gone" said Oliver

The engines sat in silence as the moon rose they fell asleep...
