The next day Ada had a little surprise waiting for her

Brittany was suspended for 2 weeks time, to reflect on her abominable behaviour

Infact she even had the audacity to glare Ada as she had passed her in the corridor, though Ada was yet to make a formal complaint, but it seemed someone had done it for her already, who was that person though she had no idea

She had enquired in the office but they had kept it confidential, Ada was of the opinion that someone out there might have had a conscious though he or she was a total wuss, he or she had not stepped forward to help her for one thing, they did not even wanted to reveal their name, the only reason Ada was ever to conjure was, that the person was too afraid to incur Brittany's wrath.

Today was a little better, then yesterday, today instead of staring at her, people were giving her a wide berth, it seemed now instead of just classrooms, everywhere she went there were invisible walls surrounding her which no one dared to cross, ofcourse except of her friends, who were no where to be seen today

Word had spread quite fast, now in the gossip she heard she was reffered to as 'The fragile human' ,'The human who almost drowned', 'The incapable human' and so on .sigh. it seemed she had a long battle to fight. How did Ana endure this for soo long

"Hey Ada" someone called her from behind

It was none other than Brian Brown, brother of that Bitchy Brittany

Ada turned back and started walking faster, she had a class to attend

"Hey wait up! " she heard him call her out from behind again

My god some people just did not get the hint, she was almost jogging now, but of course he caught up with her, stupid short legs

"Hey wait up! I want to talk to you" He held her hand and stood right in front of her

Great no chance to escape

She pasted on a fake smile

"Oh! I did not see you there" She said with mock surprise

"You are a terrible actor" he laughed, shaking his head

Well then, she dropped the fake smile

"Look I just wanted to apologize, you are right Brits has to learn her lesson, and it was wrong of me to support her, anyways she is suspended for 2 weeks, I hope we can put this behind us" he said calmly, he was apologetic that much was clear

but he was Bitchy Brittany's brother, she wasn't sure if she should accept his apology

"Look even you made a snap judgement and questioned my integrity, but you had a right to do that after what Brittany did, all I am asking is that we be friends " his hazel brown eyes were looking at her with hope

He did not even seem all bad, even Diana and Dana approved of him, she should may be give him a chance, and she was in dire need of friends who did not treat her as if she had cooties, and would pass it them if they even accidentally brushed past her

"Move! move! " suddenly there were students running towards them

"Oh shit! I am late! " There was chaos

"Professor Oasis will burn us alive " another group of girls were hurrying

"We better hurry, or we might be late" Brian said, gently guiding her through the crowd

Oh damn! She had almost forgot today was her history lecture, she was dreading it, and it seemed not only she but many others shared her feelings, and now she might be late for it too, thanks to a certain someone

"Shit! " Ada hissed, someone had painfully elbowed her side

"Are you alright? " Brian asked concerned

"I'll live! Do you have this class too? " she enquired

"Well yes! I am not exactly fond of it, but it is a mandatory subject soo... " he trailed off

People were still pushing past her and Brian

"You will get hurt " Brian stated

"Well aren't birds supposed to be delicate? Why are they soo... So.. Wild? " Ada was genuinely perplexed

While Brian just laughed

By the time they finally reached the class, it seemed the professor had already arrived

His back was facing them

Ada gently knocked at the door of the classroom

The professor turned

The same icy blue eyes held hers, the same icy blue eyes which had comforted her when she was on the brink of death

His jet black hair was falling over his forehead, his lips were in a straight line, again that stern line

"You are late" he said

His voice sounded beautiful, just like in her dream

His gaze flickered to Brian's hand, which was on her shoulder, still

"Are you not too young to be a professor? "

She heard gasps all around her

Great! It seems, she will be in trouble again, can she hide somewhere? Please!
