"Are you alright Sweetheart? "

She was lying on grass, she could smell the earth again

She was pulled out of the water it seemed, while someone was hovering over her face, gently touching her cheeks

She came face to face with the mysterious boy, the one she had bumped into the first day

His ice blue eyes had warmed with concern, while he gently stroked her hair from her face.

She coughed and spitted water as she woke up, while he gently patted her back

"What happened sweetheart? " He asked with concern, as he cupped her face in his warm hands

Ada could not stop her tears from flowing, she had almost died

"Hush, hush don't cry! " he murmured gently, as he hugged Ada to his chest, he was stroking her hair, as he murmured her to calm down softly in her ear

"Tell me sweetheart what upset you? " he asked again

"They.. They" Ada hicupped, it seemed she was in a state of shock

"Its okay sweetheart you can tell me"

"They were mean to me, they almost pushed me into.. Into.. Water and... Then, they were just...... Looking at me....as I was drowning! " Ada was crying hysterically now, she had never been bullied in her life, let alone bullied to death!

He held Ada by her shoulders, and looked at her face, he then gently wiped her tears

"Stop crying sweetheart " he said while stroking Ada's arms

"Who were they? " he asked, his tone had however changed it was no longer gentle, infact it seemed little cold

"Brittany and her minions" Ada confessed, still trying to control her tears

He hugged her again, and gently kissed her forehead "Don't worry sweetheart " he murmured, stille stroking her back in a soothing manner

"Ada!, Ada! " someone was calling her name

But her body was not obeying her commands, she was not able to speak, move or even open her eyes

"Ada, Ada, god know where she is, what if we missed her, people say Brittany went overboard with her! " she heard Dana's voice at some distance

"What if something bad happened to her and we are late! " Diana's said in a concerned voice

"Don't scare me like that! We will find her! " Dana interjected

Ada tried to call them, but it seemed there was a building weighing her down, she was not able to even open her eyes

"There she is! "

Thank god, they found her!

"Is she alright? "

"Don't ask stupid questions Dana, can't you see, she is unconscious , its best if we hurry and take her to the doctor! "

She was supported by them,and the then it looked like she again slipped into unconsciousness, because when she woke up again, she was in some sort of hospital room

"Are you alright dear?"

May be she was still in a dream, everytime she opened her eyes a handsome face greets her

"I am Dr. Brown" the man introduced himself

"You look young to be a doctor" Ada finally found her voice

While doctor Brown just laughed

"Oh thank god! You are alright, we were worried you might lose your ability to speak!" Dana sprung up from a chair near her bed

Ada rolled her eyes, they really were very imaginative

"I am just interning here dear, but I'll soon be a fully qualified doctor, in 3 months time that is, but people her call me doctor brown, by the way my name is Brian, Brian Brown" he introduced himself

"Yes, Brian is very good at his job, don't you worry" Diana said as she entered she was holding a some kind of packet, which most probably contained her medicines

Wait a second, she was in the hospital for a reason, and that reason was Bitchy Brittany, she had practically cornered her into the water with her minions and then left her there to die

With that came the tears, and anger, lots of anger

"What happened? " Dana and Diana were at her side in an instant

"Brittany, she is the one! She ordered her minions to push me into water! And then they just stood there while I was drowning! " Ada was very angry, how could she!

"Oh dear! Brittany has crossed all the lines this time! "

"She needs to be punished! "

Dana and Diana were angry for her, it felt good to have someone supporting her

"I am going to complain to the authorities tomorrow! " Ada said decisively

"Give her a chance I'll talk to her" Dr. Brown said

Ada had almost forgotten he was still there

"We know she is your sister doc, but she has crossed all limits time" Dana said gravely

"What the hell!? She is your sister? This is just great the sister tortures people and the brother relives pain, what a family, I am out of here! " Ada was pissed she quickly climbed out of the hospital bed and stormed out

"Wait Ada! " she heard her friends calling from behind, but she was just too angry

They caught upto her ofcourse

"Ada are you alright? "

"ofcourse not, why did you'll take me to her brother, god knows what he would have done to me! " Ada fumed

"Excuse me! " Brian had come out as well

"You are not excused! "

"You just questioned my dedication and integrity towards my chosen profession, just because she is my sister does not mean, I approve her actions"

"You suggested giving her a chance " Ada reminded him

"I also said I'll talk to her, she has her full life ahead of her she should be warned and punished definitely, but not dismissed"

"Yea sure" Ada mocked

"However it does not concern my profession to doubt my integrity as a doctor is not fair " he said and then he left

"He is not wrong Ada" Diana told her, while Dana nodded in agreement

Whose friends were they?
