𝗲𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 two
"OH RELAX JAYLA THEY WILL BE HAPPY TO SEE YOU BABY!" Raquel says as she helps her youngest unpack her bag. "I know mom but like what if it's all weird can I go pleasee I'll unpack the rest when I come home." Jayla says basically begging her mother.
"Fine don't get home to late okay." Raquel says giving into Jayla's begging. "Thank you thank you!" Jayla says before running out and heading over to Ruby's place.

"Wassup people!" Jayla says while walking into Ruby's room only causing the boys to freeze stare at Jayla. Well the one staring the hardest was Jamal seeing Jayla caused him to instantly have butterflies in his stomach, looking at Jayla was like Jamal was looking at an goddess and her outfit had completely helped her stand out more.
"Hey Jayla h-how was New York?" Jamal stutters out cheeks to be bright red. Before Jayla could say anything Monse burts into Ruby's room.
"I'm back!" Monse sung out "Damn it." Jamal mumbles before focusing his attention over a random book he found."Can you move that side table?" Ruby asked. "No, seriously don't make such a fuss. I've only been gone all summer, but really, it's no big deal." She rolled her eyes. "How was camp." Ruby asked.
"Camp was fine. Notice anything new?" She asked. "You got boobs." Jamal, Ruby said in unison. "No stupid, she got her braces off." Jayla said while rolling her eyes before slapping Jamal's neck.
"You can wait for Cesar to help." Monse said crossing her arms over her chest. "Hi Monse I missed you." Jayla said giving Monse a warm smile only for Monse to give her a smile in return. "Then we'll be waiting a really long time then." Jamal says before he sat down and started to flip through the book while Ruby went into his closet.
"Why? Where's Cesar?" She asked. "We're not talking to him." Ruby said. Jayla stayed quiet and scrolled through her phone, She wasn't shocked because she knew what Cesar had said due to Jamal calling and explaining her everything when she was in New York.
"You in a fight?" Monse asked again. "Well it wasn't really a fight." Jamal started. "More like a-." Jayla starts before being quickly cut off by Ruby. "We're not getting into it." Ruby states.

Jayla took her phone out and started to take pictures with Jamal while Ruby talked to Monse. "Ooh send me that one." He said. "Okay okay, only a few more." Jayla said before raising her camera one more
"You're totally deflecting this whole Cesar sitch. So stop being bitches and tell me. "What happened with Cesar?" Monse asked again. "Ditch your colors." Monse said due to them seeing some Prophet$.

Jayla had on an lace yellow top with black stretch pants and yellow and black shoes with an blue Jean jacket as well. "Oh well then" Jayla mumbles as they walked away. "Damn it, did I just jack my do?" Ruby asked. Monse quickly responded saying "Yea you did." He pulled out his phone and started to fix his hair.
"Code dread, code dread. Approaching on your six." He said making everyone look back. "Why you guys walking so fast. You know I can't keep up. Tengo asthma." She said. Before they knew they were running as Jasmine started running after after them.

When they finally stopped running Monse was still on what Cesar said causing Jayla to groan in annoyance. They all kept walking quickly when they saw some Santos jumping somebody.
"We can't tell you what Cesar said." Ruby said in a desperate voice as Oscar car slowly came more into view.
"Fine then I'll ask myself." Monse said before walking in front on his car. "Aye, you crazy?" Oscar yelled sticking his head out the window. Monse quickly stormed off in front of Oscar car leaving the three to just look at the very much sad conversation that was happening.
" This is just sad to look at I'm finna dip loves." Jayla says before hugging Ruby and Jamal and making her way to her school orientation. The boys nodded and said their goodbyes letting Jayla make her way to orientation.
Jayla placed her earplugs in and played her music and made her way to the school before being stopped by Latrelle. "Looked what the cat dragged in hey mama." Latrelle says hoping off the stairs he was sitting on and hoping in front of Jayla.
Latrelle and Jayla had got very close over the summer and even closer when she left for New York. Did she tell Jamal, Monse, Ruby or Ceaser hell nah, she knew her friends where going to flip knowing them so that's why she came to a decision kept it private.
"Boy your hair mad nappy its sad." Jayla said looking the boy's hair that was all over his head. "Because once your ass left for New York my braids became an hot ass mess Mamas, I need you to re braid it for me please." Latrelle says holing her waist.
"Fine I'll braid it tomorrow and you owe me too ugly." Jayla says. " Girl please I ain't ugly that's your little friend group." Latrelle states only to cause Jayla to smack her lips.
"Ain't like your friends cute." Jayla says causing Latrelle to chuckle. "Yeah whatever where you going to." Latrelle asks the girl while grabbing her phone and taking pictures "Orientation." Jayla says before taking a picture with Latrelle and then grabbing her phone back.

"Call me laterr I gotta go to orientation." Jayla says causing Latrelle to nod. "Aight mamas I will call you later." Latrelle says while watching her walk away and starting to focus on the kids who about to walk by little they know it was tax time.
