Jessica followed along as they headed to Chuck's. They had the best burgers in town. They got a table in the back and sat down. The waitress gave them all the once over before putting menus in front of them. She scooted away, mumbling that she would be back to get their order.
"This place has the best burgers and fries," Steve said.
"They really do," Mathew agreed.
Marci elbowed Jessica and leaned forward. "So, who is paying for my lunch?"
"What?" Mathew asked.
She smiled. "Who is paying for my lunch?"
"Not me!"Steve said.
Marci sighed. "You did invite us out."
Jessica smiled at how bold her friend could be. "She is right, you know."
"Okay, I'll pay this time," Mathew glowered at Steve. "I'm not paying for you."
"Thank you," Marci said.
"You are such a gentleman," Jessica agreed.
They ordered a round of burgers and fries, and chatted about everything but school. After finishing up, they headed out and stood on the sidewalk.
"Where do you girls want to go next?"
Mathew asked.
"The mall!" Marci said.
Jessica rolled her eyes. She didn't like the mall but often went to make her friend happy.
"Sure, we can go to the mall, Mathew said.
As they were walking, Jessica felt her cell vibrate in her pocket. She thought she had turned it off. She frowned as she pulled it out of her pocket and read the text. A shiver raced down Jessica's spine as she read the text. "It's him again"
"Who?" Marci asked looking around before she realized that Jessica was staring at her phone. "Who is it?"
"Just someone messing with me,"Jessica said.
"Tell him to leave you alone," Marci said.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"His cell number isn't working on my phone. It won't send the message."
They need help, Jessica!

"Now, he's saying someone needs our help," Jessica said.
Mathew looked over her shoulder at her phone. "Who needs our help?"
City workers.

Jessica didn't want to do this. "It's just says city workers. I think someone is hacking my phone."
Mathew reach for her phone."Let me see your phone." Steve's face went pale. "How can he know what Mathew was saying and answer?"

Because I am standing beside some guy with a blue jacket a blue hat.

Mathew's eyes went wide as he looked up from the phone. "It says he's  standing beside you."
