"Wait... So you didn't deny that you loved me." Mattholomule said with a smirk.
Gus raised an eyebrow at him in confusion.
"What?"
Mattholomule's smirk faltered a little when he realized Gus kept on not getting his jokes.
He shook his head and quickly said. "You said that the joke wasn't bad, which means there had to be some truth it my joke."
Gus' eyes widened and he nervously said. "What? No!"
It went silent again as Mattholomule felt a little hurt at how quick Gus went to deny it.
Am I really that bad? To the point where he doesn't even want me to even think about him liking me?
