3rd person's POV
"Are you guys dating?"
Mattholomule's eyes widened at the accusation as Gus choked on his spit.
Mattholomule immediately patted his back, until Gus stopped coughing.
"T-Thanks." Gus muttered.
"No problem."
Bria glanced back and forth between the two before she made a slight face of disgust.
"So it's true, wow Matty, I know no girls like you but this is just sad." Bria said.
Mattholomule tensed up at that and opened his mouth to say something.
Bria raised an eyebrow in anticipation before saying. "Are you trying to say something Matty?"
Mattholomule immediately shut his mouth after that and stayed silent.
"That's what I thought." She said with a smug smirk.
Gus stared at Mattholomule in shock, he would've usually said something, but now he's just silent.
Gus didn't like it, it felt weird to him, and he also hated the fact that Bria was making his friend upset.
"Mattholomule can have anybody he wanted if he really tried!" Gus said with balled fists.
Bria looked at him in shock, she was surprised he actually spoke up.
She quickly glared at him and said. "That's hard to believe."
"Well, its the truth."
Bria rolled her eyes and it went quiet.
Gus was sure he had shut her up, and right as he was about to tell Mattholomule to leave with him, Bria spoke up.
"Prove it."
"Huh?"
"If he can have anyone he want, why don't you kiss him?"
