It was '𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰 & 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘵'. Her favorite love story. Right when it was announced, Athena knew exactly who she was going to audition for. It was Juliet Capulet.

Athena thought she was a lot like Juliet. Juliet was a strong even though she appeared quiet and obedient. Juliet had inner strength, intelligence, bravery, wit, and independence. Just like Athena.

From the outside it would have not seemed that Athena was nervous but in the inside she was freaking out. "What if I forget my lines? Or what if I freeze?" She said while walking around in circles in her dorm.

"Listen" he got up to hold her hand "you'll do fine. I know you will."

She looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks Chris."

"No problem. Besides you're going to be the best prepared person there. There's no one else that I know who knows more about the theater then you do."

Christopher Cohen also know as Chris. Athena's best friend since birth has always been there for Athena. Threw thick and thin. They had never really left each other's side unless they had too.

With all their time mostly spent together, Christopher had caught feelings for Athena. Which was too bad because all Athena could ever see Christopher was as a brother. And he knew that. His crush on her was painfully obvious and everyone could see it except her.

Auditions were being held in the muggle studies classroom. Which seemed fit as Professor Smith(the muggle-born/muggle studies professor) was the person holding auditions with Professor Flitwick.

The Auditions were to be held in groups of twenty for thirty minutes. Ten boys and ten girls. Unfortunately for Athena she ended up in a group with James Potter and his idiotic friends.

"Alright everyone let's get started! I need all boys to go to the left and all girls to go to the right. I'm going to give each one of you a number between one and ten, please remember those numbers. Then I'm going to need you to find the person with the same number as you."

Athena started looking for her partner. Everyone else seemed to have found their partner rather quickly while she seemed to be searching forever. Then someone caught her eye. It was James. She had decided to go up to him.

"Please tell me you weren't given number seven" she said with despair in her voice.

"I'm not number seven" he said with a cheeky smirk.

She rolled her eyes. "...look just don't mess this up for me. It's really important for me to get the role of Juliet" she said sternly.

James raised an eyebrow. "What makes you think this isn't important to me?"

"I never said that."

"But clearly it was indicated."

Athena was appalled. "It-it's just that you're a jock. All you care about is quidditch and girls. You're not the type of guy to care about a play especially not one about love."

"Now you're just stereotyping me."

     "Wel—"

Professor Smith had interrupted Athena. "Now that everyone is partnered up, I'm going to give you guys ten minutes to rehearse with each other. Before professor Flitwick and I take you guys in for the audition. Now I am assuming that all of you had gotten the script the day that we announced the play we would be doing, 'Romeo & Juliet', but if you didn't please come up and grab one and quickly begin to rehearse."

"So do you know your lines?"

"Do you?" James said sarcastically.

"Obviously you know the answer."

"Then let's begin."

Athena and James had used those ten minutes they were given to their advantage. They did not waste any time in arguing but instead actually rehearsed their lines.

And even though Athena thought James was going to make a fool of himself; he'd actually surprised her with his acting. James was an amazing actor. In those ten minutes she envied the way he portrayed Romeo and to date he was the biggest challenge she had faced in acting but Athena would never admit that to him.

When it was time for them to audition together, they were spectacular. It was as if the whole world had stopped and they were the only two people left on earth. It was an out of this world experience. It was like it was meant to be.
