It's been 2 and a half years since you escaped that hellhole. When the two of you had arrived at the safe spot your brother had made for you, there were items there. Outfits that were identical and had fitted you perfectly, no doubt because your brother had made this fit for your measurements only. There were two guns that had matched your outfit perfectly. A pair of combat gloves, and combat heels. So since you had this Cloud had asked you whether you wanted him to train you. His excuse? 'I wouldn't want this to all go to waste.' And you accepted it.

Apparently, some of SOLDIERS and reporters had been killed among the chaos. It seemed your brother had meant to create confusion. A few days after your escaped, new had been announced. All screens were showing the Shinra news reporter, who was reporting your 'kidnapping', a photo of yours was shown too. But your hood hid your identity perfectly.

A year later, when the two of you grew bored, you decided to apply as a mercenary.

Hence where you are right now. Leaning onto a train railing and grabbing hold of your hood. You silently wonder why you were dragged into this mess. You purse your lips as you remembered how a man with a gun for a arm had approached you. At first you were ready to strike the man. But Cloud had stopped you from doing so. Apparently the big man was sent by a old friend of Cloud's. So you stopped and listened to what he had said. It was a new job for the two of you. The pay was fine but you were hesitant to do the mission.

After all, you had cut all ties with Shinra and didn't exactly wanted to put it back together. But you hadn't had such an exciting offer in so long. It would usually be finding dogs for owners or other boring stuff. Sometimes people hired you as a assassin, but that was once in a blue moon. So you accepted, because you didn't know when you would have such an exciting offer ever again.

However, right now, you were beginning to question whether it was worth it or not. Since the big man had seemed to only expect Cloud and not you. He didn't even know what you looked like or how you sounded, of course he would have his suspicions. But still, he was really loud and obnoxious and loud.

You felt the train slow down and got yourself to stop leaning on the railing and hid in the train's shadow. Your outfit blended in perfectly with the dark so the Shinra guards couldn't tell if you were there or not. You tilt your head up slightly to see a tuft of blond hair. You look back down and listen to what was happening from the train platform. A few groans and a kick.

You heard thumping on the ground and you recognized it as Barrett's footsteps. "C'mon mercs. Ain't go no time to waste."

All clear then. You pick up a hairpin and attach it to your hair, precautions. To make sure that the hood doesn't fall off when you fight. You heard the air swift from it's clashing with the metal so you assumed that Cloud was down. You step out of the train and approach the two boys with a grim face.

You watch as three figure hide behind a wall as two extra guards appear. Both who took notice of you and raised their guns. Barrett looks at the two of you, "your up." And just like that he walks away, leaving both of you two fight. The guards rush towards you and you flip over the closest one, quickly pulling out your blades and slashing the neck.

Then the guard collapsed, bleeding, but not exactly dead. You looked at the guard to see his state. Scratch that, the guy was dead. You quickly moved away from him, not wanting to get your boots bloody. Cloud was already heading towards the entrance. And right as you had finally reached him another two extra guards appeared. You stifle a groan as they again raise their guns at you. As they run towards you, cursing. The 4 others that were hiding hurry and rush past the guards.

You shake your head as the one on the left targets you. Next thing the guy knew, you were right by his side. Blade already drawn out, you slashed at the side of his stomach and twisted his neck. You look towards Cloud to see him slashing the guard into pieces. Thank god that wasn't you. You jump over the checkpoint and you hear Cloud following after you. You heard footsteps coming towards your direction. From the stairs.
