Happy Family

Katnice's P.O.V
After I leave Scott's house I teleport to Lydia's. I knock on the door and when she opens it she hugs me.

Lydia: Oh my God. Katnice. You're back!

Katnice:Hello Lydia. Nice to see you again.

Lydia:Come inside.

I walk in and we go upstairs in her room. I sit on the bed and take one of her stuffed animals in my hands.

Lydia:So what's new?

Katnice :Not much. The past time I was at a school that now I abandoned and I visited my family. I visited my uncle Kol and aunt Davina in San Francisco and my aunt Rebekah and uncle-step-brother Marcel in New York. I lived with my aunt Freya and Keeilin. Now I'm here. I visited Scott before and now I'm angry at him.

Lydia :What happened?

Katnice: I told him that after graduation I'll leave Beacon Hills for good.

Lydia:Why?

Katnice:I don't like this place. It causes me nightmares.

Lydia:I get it. I'm thinking of leaving too.

Katnice:See? You understand my situation. Why Scott can't?

Lydia:What do you mean?

Katnice :He said that he doesn't want to leave Beacon hills. He is never going to leave. He'll leave only for college and then come back. And I can't forgive myself for killing him. It's a memory that will haunt me forever.

Lydia:What are you going to do?

Katnice :Well I learned from a witch that If I do something to make it up, the guilt will go away.

Lydia :Something to make it up with Scott?

Katnice :With anyone. But it has to be something very special.

Lydia:What did you think of?

Katnice :Well for start I'm gonna sleep.

Lydia:What?

Katnice :I'm tired. I'll think tomorrow of what to do. And I thought that you could host me for the next 5 months.

Lydia :Fine. Just don't drink my blood while I'm sleeping.

Katnice:Why would I do that?

Lydia:Just kidding. Go to sleep.

All night I can't sleep. When I closed  my eyes I could see again the frightened eyes of my victims. How they were laid on the ground.. dead.
I go downstairs and sit on the couch. I put a movie to see. After a few minutes I fall asleep.

I walk in a dark place. There's nothing around me. Only darkness. Then I see a door. I open it. I walk inside and see my home in New Orleans.

??? :Hello Katnice.

I turn around and then I see him.

Katnice :Dad?

Klaus:Are you ok?

Katnice :Yeah. What date do we have?

Klaus:10 August 2016

That's two days before I died. And three days later I find out that my dad and uncle are dead.

Rebekah :Is everything ok?

Klaus:She said everything is ok. But I don't know.

Katnice :I'm fine.

Rebekah : Well I got to go. Love you sweetie.

She kisses me on my forehead and then walks out of the house. In the darkness.

Katnice :Dad. I have to tell you something.

Klaus:What is it.

Katnice:You are gonna die in two days. So as uncle Elijah. So as I.

Klaus:What are you talking about?

??? :Is everything alright?

The woman says while she is walking down the stairs.

Klaus:I don't know. She says I'm about to die.

??? That's nonsense. If he was about to die I'd knew it.

She smils and puts her hand on his shoulder and then she kisses him on the lips.

I'm not talking. I look at them shocked.

??? :Katnice you ok?

I can't talk.

Katnice :M-mom?

She looks at me in curiosity.

I sit on the couch. Then they both sit beside me.

Katnice :I think all this time was a dream. I don't think I ever went to Beacon Hills.

Klaus:What is Beacon Hills?

Katnice:A place where I used to go to school.

Hope:You know you always went to the Salvatore Boarding School. You have friends there too.

Katnice :Yeah. I guess Beacon Hills was just a dream... So you guys are both alive!

Hope:Of course we are alive. (They laugh) Now come. I'm gonna get you something to eat.

I follow her in the kitchen. After a few minutes my whole family comes downstairs. Uncle Elijah, uncle Kol, aunt Rebekah, Marcel, aunt Freya, aunt Davina, aunt Keeilin. I am so happy. We are all a happy family. After a lot of time I smile again. Then suddenly they all start to disappear. One by one. The last one is my father. He looks at me with his brown eyes and then he disappears too. The house disappears. And then there I am again in the darkness.. Alone. I want to scream. So I do. Suddenly I hear a voice calling my name.

??? :Kat.. Kat!

Lydia:Kat! Wake up.

I woke up screaming with tears on my cheeks and puffed eyes.

Lydia:Kat you ok? It was a nightmare right?

I looked at her. She hugged me.

Lydia:You awake now.
