I fell asleep right when I got there. I don't sleep that much anymore.

"Peaches."
"It didn't happen..."
"Peaches?"
"I imagined it, right?" I open my eyes. "It's not real."
"Peaches. You're at my house." She moved her hand in my face. "You good?"
"Mh."
"You've been sleeping for like eight hours. I had to make sure you weren't dead down here."
"Dead?"
"Nothing. You hungry?"
"I guess." I sat up. "Where'd the others go?"
"They went to get something to eat. You want some chips?"
"Mh. Any kind." She went in the kitchen. "You know, if she wants, I would still like to buy a special girl some dresses."
"She still wants to. It'll make her really happy."
"Is she ready?"
"She is."
"Perfect." She came back. "I thought she would take some more time."
"I don't think she wants to take anymore chances." I lean on her. She hugged me. "I think this'll be better upstairs.'
"Okay." We went upstairs and cuddled. "You have feelings for me?"
"I think I been had feelings for you but I had a girlfriend already."
"Yeah me too. I took the video down cause like everybody at your old school saw it and I don't know how you are with bullying."
"Then I could take it but now I just feel weak, I deleted Instagram and my other social mediaa because my friends were just going off about my mom. Except for Traci. She just told me she didn't want to be friends anymore and nothing after that."
"Was she like your favorite friend?"
"Best friend since middle school."
"Oh. Well you still have Derrick and Terrell and me."
"Yeah. I like you guys."
"So when you wake up you always say those things?"
"What things?"
"Those phrases."
"What are you talking about?"
"Nevermind. Do you remember bumping your head on something?"
"No."
"Okay. Do you feel better by any chance?"
"I guess." My phone rang. I grab it. "Hello?'
"Where are you Peaches?"
"With some friends."
"Okay, I just wanted to make sure you were safe."
"Are you off?"
"Yeah just for a while though."
"It's important to take a break."
"I know I will eventually. Don't worry about me. Just have fun with your friends."
"Okay. Bye Da- um Fredrick."
"Bye."
"Who's Fredrick?"
"My stepdad."
"Oh." The door opened. "Hey guys. It's nice to see you awake peaches."
