"Yeah, she won't mind."
"Alright." She got out. We went to the door and I knocked. "Auntie?" She opened it. "Hey sweetie. This must be Yvonne."
"Yeah."
"Okay come in." We went in. "Nice to meet you miss."
"Nice to meet you too. Did you guys eat already?"
"We ate on the road. Are you hungry?"
"Nah I'm good."
"Okay well sit down and tell me about this thing with your cousin." We sat down. "Alright well...." I told her what happened between us. "Okay so what I'm going to do is go talk to her first, if nothing changes I'll get police involved and if nothing changes again I'll try to get custody. I think I'm the only one who can get custody of you anyway, I think."
"Who else do I have?"
"You have more aunties and uncles than you think."
"Oh speaking of that, are you and my mom related?"
"Did she say we were?"
"Yeah."
"What's her name?"
"Madison."
"Oh yeah we're sisters. I haven't seen her since she told me she was gonna get you back. But I didn't know it was you."
"I thought you were my dad's sister."
"I feel bad for anyone that was related to him. But anyway, it's about time for bed, I set my guest room up for you Shanice. Are you staying Yvonne?"
"If Peaches wants me to."
"Yeah stay."
"Okay, if you guys get hungry, there's food in the kitchen."
"Okay, goodnight Auntie."
"Goodnight guys." She turned some lights off. "Let's go to the room."
"Are we gonna do something?"
"Like what?"
"Kiss. Makeout."
"You don't want to just lay with me?"
"Honestly baby, no. But I know you're pregnant so you decide if we do anything or not."

I walk out of the room. "Good morning Auntie."
"Morning. Your girlfriend still sleep?"
"Yeah we had a long night."
"In like a good way?*
"Good and bad."
"Oh. By the way, I have other plans for Christmas break, I hope you're okay with that.*
"What do you mean?"
"This guy I've been seeing for a while, wants to take me out of town for Christmas."
"That's fine. Can my other friends come then?"
"How many?"
"Just two more."
"Yes they can. Only because I trust you."
"Thanks. So tell me about this guy."
"I can't. It hasn't been that long."
"How long has it been?"
"Half a year."
"Is that not long enough for you to tell me about him?"
"He's just secretive and shy, I guess you could say."
"Where are you guys going?"
"To Alabama to visit his family."
"That's nice."
"We're gonna go by your cousins in a while, after we eat." Yvonne came out. "Good morning."
"Good morning." She sat down. "Morning baby." She kissed my cheek. I blushed which I don't normally do. My auntie smiled at me. "Here you go guys."
"Thanks."

"Yeah." She knocked. Deja opened it. "What do you want?"
"We need to talk Deja."
"I don't have anything I want to talk about."
"You can't kick your cousin out Daja. She's in your custody."
"I don't want her having a attitude with me. About anything. I don't want no one over. You can't leave unless I say so."
"No hell no. Auntie? No."
"Deja. You do realize that Peaches is sixteen, she's should be allowed to do things. I don't see why you would actually care that much about what she does or goes.x
"Alright whatever."
"And what's wrong with her girlfriend? She's a sweet girl. I promise."
"She can leave with her but she's not coming inside."
"Auntie..."
"Peaches, here. I'm giving you a key to my house, if you guys wanna hang out, come to my house. If you need anything or wanna get away. Come over, I'll understand."
"Okay, thank you Auntie." I hugged her. "Let's go get your stuff."

"Bye." She kissed me. "I'll be back to take you to the dance."
"Have you picked out a dress?"
"Mh. I just need you to be fitted for it because you gained some weight."
"Okay. I know."
"I didn't mean that to be rude. You're pregnant."
"I know what you mean." She kissed me deeply. "Mm." I felt her tongue. "You trying to go home?"
"No." She smiled. "I'll see you in two weeks baby. "
"Bye." I grabbed my bag.

"Shanice? Can I come in?"
"Um sure." She came in. "I haven't been acting like I normally have lately and I'm sorry. We're cousins and I should treat you like that."
"It's okay."
"Something happened and it made me mad and I took it out on you."
"What happened?"
"I shouldn't get you in my drama."
"No tell me."
"Okay well, I fell in love with this girl, she was so amazing. But we were friends and it seemed like she only wanted us to be friends. I could tell she didn't like me...so I just decided to ask her out anyway and she... she said no, she doesn't like girls and she told me she didn't want to be friends anymore because she thought I would start to harass her."
"I'm so sorry."
"You can see why I acted like that when you wanted your girlfriend to come in. But I saw you guys outside. You guys love each other and I shouldn't get in the way of that. She can come in if she wants, just no sex."
"Okay thank you."
"No problem." She got up. "What do you want for dinner?"
"You choose."
"Okay." She walked out.
